Warning to Christian Females from America

After what happened to CBS's Lara Logan, any Western female who travels to Egypt needs to have her head examined.  The chances of getting raped by males following the religion of peace is far too high to take any chances.  And then there is the threat from Obama's friends in the Muslim Brotherhood.

Read about a warning for American females who are Christians to stay away from Egypt, via Now the End Begins.  Can't wait to hear the hysteria from American feminists in defense of women being threatened in Egypt.

Ain't Obama's Arab Spring great?

US Embassy Issues Terror Warnings For American Female Christians In Egypt

he US Embassy in Cairo issued a terrorist threat warning on Friday for American citizens living in Egypt. The diplomatic mission stated on its website that it has “credible information suggesting terrorist interest in targeting US female missionaries in Egypt.”
The embassy urged US citizens to “exercise vigilance, taking necessary precautions to maintain their personal security.” Americans in Egypt were also advised to maintain valid travel documents and to regularly monitor the US Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs website, which lists updated travel warnings and alerts.

On August 4, the US issued a travel warning to Americans to “take precautions in travel to the Sinai.” It warned that “overland travel from Israel to the Sinai in particular is strongly discouraged.”
That warning came soon after Israel urged its citizens to get out of the Sinai. The next day, Sinai terrorists killed 16 Egyptian border guards in an assault at the Egypt-Gaza-Israel border.
Also on Friday, the chairwoman of the House of Representatives committee that oversees foreign aid said she would block $450 million in US assistance to Egypt in light of tense relations between the two countries.
“This proposal comes to Congress at a point when the US-Egypt relationship has never been under more scrutiny, and rightly so,” the chairwoman of the Appropriations subcommittee on foreign operations Rep. Kay Granger, R-Texas, said in a statement.
“I am not convinced of the urgent need for this assistance and I cannot support it at this time. … I have placed a hold on these funds.”
The relationship between the United States and Egypt has been rocky since the overthrow of US ally President Hosni Mubarak last year. The Egyptian government angered Washington when it cracked down on numerous democracy advocates and groups, including three US-funded nongovernmental organizations, earlier this year.
More recently, demonstrators breached the US Embassy in Cairo to protest an anti-Islam video, and some in Congress have called for cutting off aid. The United States provides Egypt with $1.55 billion annually — $250 million in economic aid and $1.3 billion in military aid. source – Times of Israel

Democratic Voter Registration Decline

It's no longer cool to be a Dem.  How about that!  Sounds to me like Barack Obama has given the public a taste of what Democrats represent, and the voters are turning away in droves.

Let's hope this will be a repeat performance of 2010.  Two years ago,. we knocked Nancy "Cruella" Pelosi off her platform.  This year:  Operation Remove Barack Obama and "Dingy Harry" Reid.

Read from Gateway Pundit:

MASSIVE DECLINE in Democrat Voter Registration in 8 Swing States

Don’t look now but Democrats are in trouble.
Democratic drop in Ohio voter registrations mirrors a nationwide trend.
In fact, Democratic voter registration in 8 swing states outnumbers Republican decline by a 10-to-1 ratio.

FOX News
 reported:
“Don’t boo, vote,” President Obama often says in his stump speech whenever crowds boo a Romney plan.
The off-hand call to vote may be by design. It comes amid a precipitous decline in Democratic voter registration in key swing states — nowhere more apparent than in Ohio.
Voter registration in the Buckeye State is down by 490,000 people from four years ago. Of that reduction, 44 percent is in Cleveland and surrounding Cuyahoga County, where Democrats outnumber Republicans more than two to one.
“I think what we’re seeing is a lot of spin and hype on the part of the Obama campaign to try to make it appear that they’re going to cruise to victory in Ohio,” Cuyahoga County Republican Chairman Rob Frost said. “It’s not just Cuyahoga County.Nearly 350,000 of those voters are the decrease in the rolls in the three largest counties, Cuyahoga, Hamilton and Franklin.
Frost points out that those three counties all contain urban centers, where the largest Democrat vote traditionally has been.
Ohio is not alone. An August study by the left-leaning think tank Third Way showed that the Democratic voter registration decline in eight key swing states outnumbered the Republican decline by a 10-to-one ratio. In Florida, Democratic registration is down 4.9 percent, in Iowa down 9.5 percent. And in New Hampshire, it’s down down 19.7 percent.

Obama and Hillary: The Lying Duo

With all the lies being generated out of the White House, it's difficult to get a clear picture of what took place in the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.  The following article gives an accurate timeline of what went down.

Read from the American Thinker:

Barack Obama's Terrorist Attack Cover-Up

By Sara Goss
It is astounding that what really happened in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012 has been so thoroughly buried by the mainstream media.
In an article from Reuters dated September 12, 2012, Alastair MacDonald reported that "U.S. troops dispatched by helicopter across the Libyan desert to rescue Ambassador Chris Stevens and other diplomats in Benghazi ran into a fierce overnight ambush that left a further two Americans dead."  MacDonald quotes Capt. Fathi al-Obeidi (Libya special operations) as saying that "after his men and the Marines had found the American survivors who had evacuated the blazing consulate, the ostensibly secret location in an isolated villa came under an intense and highly accurate mortar barrage."
A detailed timeline of the attack is here.
Now, I'm confused.  Helicopters?  Apparently, as the consulate came under attack, the occupants contacted someone (it isn't specified who), and the Marines were dispatched.  The Marines then ran into an ambush when they tried to helicopter to the consulate location from "across the Libyan desert."  Meanwhile, Capt. al-Obeidi said that "it began to rain down on us," just as his security force was heading out to evacuate the 37 Americans in the ten pickup trucks and sedans they had brought to take the Americans to the airport.  Capt. al-Obeidi said that he was "being bombarded by calls from all over the country by Libyan government officials who wanted me to hurry and get them out."
Libyan Deputy Interior Minister Wanis al-Sharif said Stevens and another diplomat died in the first series of incidents around the consulate, while the other two Americans died during the attempt to evacuate from the safe house to the airport.  "[The ambassador] died as a result of suffocation by the fumes of the fire inside the embassy and one was also killed by gunfire before around 37 people were moved to a place we thought was safe," Sharif told Reuters in Benghazi.  Speaking of the rescue mission, he said: "A team of commandos arrived by air and went to a farm which we thought was a secret location. Once they got there, they came under heavy fire from heavy machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades and automatic rifles, which resulted in the death of two others."
Wow. Now I am even more confused. I am going to try to sort this out.
1) The consulate is attacked.
2) The 37 Americans inside the consulate contact someone (unspecified as to who).
3) The Marines are dispatched from "across the Libyan desert."
4) Libyan security forces are dispatched to evacuate the Americans to the nearest airport to get them out of there.
5) The Marines run into an ambush.  Apparently they were expected.  This confirms that this was a coordinated terrorist attack.
6) Libyan security forces arrive, thinking that there are some Americans at the consulate, and find 37 Americans who need transport.  They don't have enough trucks and sedans to get all of these people out.
7) Ambassador Stevens is already dead when the Libyan security forces arrive.  He did not die from smoke inhalation at the hospital.  He was already deceased when they arrived.
8) The attackers knew the location of the "safe house" where the Americans were transported to after leaving the consulate.  This too came under attack.
And what did we hear from Barack Obama?  "The movie did it."
The movie wasn't mentioned by anyone other than Obama and Clinton, whereupon everyone started mentioning it.  And now, fully two weeks after the attack, the administration has finally admitted that it most likely was a terrorist attack, but they cannot comment on an ongoing FBI investigation.  Well...how is it that the FBI hasn't arrived at the location yet?  Don't forget that the Obama administration was warned about possible terrorist attacks three days in advance.
To say that this was a result of a "movie" is a lie, and a big lie at that.  Obama knew about the failed helicopter rescue, the attacks on the safe houses, and the number of people at the consulate and so has been lying since the attack.  The movie claim is a "look squirrel" distraction that Obama knew wouldn't be challenged by the MSM (since they're in his pocket).  And he was right.  They parroted his claims about the movie as the cause and went back to criticizing Mitt Romney.
And the "investigative reporting" from CNN, NBC, CBS, PBS, and the rest of the alphabet media?  Crickets.

Muslim Mother Attempts to Knife Her Daughter to Death

Most people agree that wayward children need some discipline, even in their upper teens, especially if they are still living under their parents' roof.  However, I kinda think coming at them with a knife with the intent to kill is a little on the severe side, dontcha think?  But, such is the way of Islam.  A rebellious, likely immoral daughter does not deserve to live; so says the prophet Mohammed.

Read about a near fatal honor killing attempt in Canada from the National Post.  The mother looks harmless enough, but Islam does not bring the best out of people.

‘It’s for your good. Let me finish’: Afghan-Canadian mother told police she stabbed her daughter with a kitchen knife

kaleki-ebrahimi
Johra Kaleki (L) told Montreal police her daughter, Bahar Ebrahimi, was rebelling in the months before the alleged attack.
MONTREAL – For months, Bahar Ebrahimi had been rebelling
against her parents, complaining their Afghan culture and
Muslim religion were suffocating her. “I want to enjoy my life.
I want to feel what the other ones feel,” she told them, according
to her mother’s statement to police.
It was June, 2010, Grand Prix weekend in downtown Montreal,
and on two straight nights the 19-year-old stayed out past dawn
against her parents’ wishes.
For her mother, Johra Kaleki, the behaviour confirmed that all her
efforts to steer her eldest daughter on the right path had failed. “I
felt like she would never be fixed,” she told Sgt.-Det. Alexandre
Bertrand in an interrogation video played Wednesday in Quebec
Court.
As her crying husband spoke to Bahar in the basement of their Dorval
home, Ms. Kaleki went upstairs and grabbed a large knife from the
kitchen counter, the one she used to chop meat, she recounted. “I said,
‘This is the time.’ ”
She hid the knife under her T-shirt, returned to the basement, and told
her husband the problem would best be resolved between mother and
daughter. “Just leave us alone for five minutes,” she said she told him.
“Don’t come until I call you.”
He left and she cuddled her first-born and told her to lie on her stomach
so she could give her a back massage. “Then I stab her, stab her neck,”
she confessed. “She said, ‘No Mom!’ I said, ‘It’s for your good. Let me
 finish.’ ”
Earlier in the interrogation, Sgt.-Det. Bertrand has asked whether the knife
blade was sharp. “No, it wasn’t,” she replied. “I wish it was. I wanted to give
her the peace that she needed.”

NetlogBahar Ebrahimi is alleged to have been stabbed by her mother Johra Kaleki.
Bahar survived the attack, suffering serious knife wounds to her head
and shoulder. Ms. Kaleki, 40, is charged with attempted murder,
aggravated assault and illegal use of a weapon.
Her husband, alerted by Bahar’s screams, rushed downstairs and grabbed
the knife from Ms. Kaleki, the court heard. “I said to my husband, let me
finish her.’ ” She tried to choke her daughter, she said, and after Bahar
escaped, she chased her upstairs and tried to break down the locked
door to the bedroom where she was calling 911.
She was arrested, and after being treated in hospital for a knife wound
on her own arm, she told her story to Sgt.-Det. Bertrand.
Then I stab her, stab her neck. She said, ‘No
 Mom!’

I said, It’s for your good. Let me finish
The first night Bahar stayed out late, informing her parents she was
downtown enjoying a concert, they went to the local police station to
file a report, Ms. Kaleki said. The officer told them there was nothing
that could be done. “He said, ‘She’s safe. Don’t worry. She’s a teenager.’ ”
But the idea of a rebellious teenage girl was foreign to her parents.
They expected Bahar to be home by 11 p.m. and not to smoke, drink
or have boyfriends.
After the second night, when Bahar said she had spent much of the evening
walking along St. Laurent Blvd., Ms. Kaleki was horrified. “I asked her, ‘Are
you a prostitute? Are you a whore?’ ” she said.
A few months earlier, when Ms. Kaleki discovered Bahar was being harassed
by an ex-boyfriend, she blamed her daughter. After speaking to the boy once
on the phone, Ms. Kaleki decided he sounded like “a very good Muslim guy”
and told Bahar he would make a good husband. “Probably you’ve done
something to drive him crazy,” she told her. “I know you. You’re my daughter.”
Bahar refused the idea of marriage, calling the boy a “psycho.”
Toward the end of the four-hour interview, the detective asked Ms. Kaleki
whether she had anything to add. “I hope she gets well,” she said referring
to her daughter. But she did not want her to emerge unscarred.
“She live with that wound,” she continued, pointing to her neck, “she
remembers me.” The experience “will make her strong and give her wisdom. . . .
It means she will give up her ways of living.”
The hearing this week before Judge Yves Paradis is to determine whether the
video and other statements made by Ms. Kaleki can be entered into evidence
during the trial, which is scheduled to begin in January. Ms. Kaleki’s defence
lawyer has said she will argue that Ms. Kaleki did not have the “operating mind”
necessary to consent to the interrogation. The hearing continues Thursday.

Palestinian Statehood Bid Postponed

The meeting this past week at the UN came and went without any incident.  How could that be?  Remember that I warned of possible tragedy for entertaining enemies of Israel.  Thankfully, we were spared from tragedy, for now, because Obama did not meet with her enemies and primarily because Abbas has postponed his demand for statehood at the UN.   So, we are safe from judgment for the time being.

Abbas prefers to wait until after the U.S. election.  He is hoping Obama will win, knowing that if that is the case, Obama will fight on the Palestinians behalf, something that he dare not do before an election.

PA to Submit UN Statehood Bid After U.S. Elections

PLO's Hanan Ashrawi says the PA will submit a resolution seeking enhanced UN observer status after the U.S. presidential election.

The Palestinian Authority will submit a  resolution seeking enhanced UN observer status for ‘Palestine’ later this year after the U.S. presidential election, a Palestine Liberation Organization official said on Friday.
"We have begun consultations on the format of the text that will be presented to the General Assembly to upgrade the Palestinian status to an observer state status," Hanan Ashrawi, a member of the PLO's executive committee, was quoted byAFP as having told reporters.
"Most people are looking at the completion of consultations before the end of the year. There are others who have suggested that we target the 29th of November because it's the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People."
"The president said openly that he is not going to present it before the American elections," on November 6, she added.
Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday formally announced that the PA would ask the General Assembly to grant it "super-observer" status that could give it access to UN institutions and agencies.
The announcement, made in his address to the General Assembly, came a year after Abbas asked the Security Council to grant the PA full member status. That bid has failed due to a lack of support in the 15-member Security Council.
"We lost the momentum of last year, very clearly, at the Security Council bid," Ashrawi said, according to AFP.
She added, "We have reached a critical point. Israel has been allowed to undermine the two-state solution to the point where this is a last-ditch effort to try to rescue the chances of peace and the two-state solution by the Palestinians."
In his speech to the General Assembly, Abbas launched into a tirade against Israel, condemning Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria and saying they constitute "ethnic cleansing" by Israel.
He said new Jewish communities and in and around Jerusalem and demolition of “Palestinian homes” are "a campaign of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people," but did not mention that any Jew who enters a PA village takes his life into his hands and that he has announced repeatedly that no Jews would be allowed to live in a PA state.
PA Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki has predicted that Arab countries support a unilateral PA bid for statehood recognition in the UN General Assembly. He said he believed the PA would win 130-140 votes should the motion be put forward at the world body, securing a majority in the General Assembly.
The Obama administration has said it will oppose the PA’s renewed statehood bid at the UN and will “make the case” at the United Nations for Israeli- PA talks when Abbas submits it.

The Obama Regime's Abysmal Record in the Middle East

Obama's foreign policy has been so atrocious that it is difficult to pick out his top blunders.  Though they are so very numerous in number, Human Events has chosen Obama's top ten catastrophic decisions regarding the Arab world.

TOP 10 OBAMA
MIDEAST MISTAKES

Top 10 Obama
Mideast mistakes

Despite Barack Obama’s view that his presidency would repair relations with the Muslim world, America’s standing on the Arab street has never been lower.
1. Egypt policy
The administration has been consistently one-step behind events in crafting an Egypt policy. The White House’s initial backing of President Hosni Mubarak lost any support it might have gained from the crowds in Tahrir Square. Then the United States shocked its Mideast allies by pulling support from the Egyptian leader. The United States is now faced with a hostile regime in Cairo, where a Muslim Brotherhood-headed government could hardly be bothered to act when a mob tried to overrun the U.S. embassy.
2. Iran nuclear program
During his 2008 campaign, Obama posited that the Iranian leadership was bellicose mostly in reaction to misguided policies of the Bush administration. Unlike his predecessor, he would be willing to sit down and talk with the mullahs, confident that his powers of persuasion would convince them to lay down their nuclear ambitions. Four years later, Obama seems has been more concerned about cutting back our nuclear arsenal than trying to stop Tehran.
3. Diplomatic security
How could a U.S. ambassador be at an unsecured consulate in a hostile location in the Arab world on the anniversary of September 11? Christopher Stevens’ murder by a terror mob need could have been avoided if the U.S. heeded the warnings that violence was afoot. The State Department had even issued a travel alert to Americans about going to Libya, yet the consulate had minimal security.
4. Libya explanation
Long after the entire world knew that the strike on the Libyan consulate was a terrorist attack, the Obama administration continued its laughable explanation that the assault was solely the result of a spontaneous mob enraged by an anti-Islamic film. As Sen. John McCain pointed out, protesters don’t usually bring rocket-propelled grenades to a political rally.
5. Disdain for Israel
The one ally the United States could always count on in the Middle East—Israel—has consistently gotten the shaft from the White House. Obama has shown nothing if not disdain for the Jewish state, at one point offending Israeli officials by urging a return to 1967 borders. Now Obama can’t even find time in his schedule for a face-to-face meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
6. Leading from behind in Libya
Hillary Clinton asked, “How can this happen in a country we helped to liberate?” when the U.S. ambassador was murdered. The answer goes back to the method of liberation—Obama’s sanctioning of NATO air strikes. Little regard was given to the make-up of the rebels that finally steamed-rolled to victory who are vying for power.
7. Iran protests
Before the Arab Spring, there were the Iranian protests of 2009, where any assistance from Washington, could have helped to tip the balance of power away from the hard-line Islamist leaders. Instead, Obama was still convinced of his own power to sweet-talk Ahmadinejad and he left the nascent democracy movement out to dry.
8. Syria muddle
That the Syrian uprising has turned into a crisis reminiscent of the Cold War, with Russia and China teaming against the West to support the Assad regime, is a sign that Obama’s “reset” with the Kremlin is headed to the dustbin of history. The Obama administration truly is leading from behind in Syria, with no real strategy to influence the outcome, deal with its aftermath or, mostly importantly, advance U.S. interests.
9. Hurt sensibilities
After the U.S. Embassy in Cairo was breached by an unruly mob, the diplomatic staff put out a statement condemning “the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims”—referring to the anti-Muslim film the crowd was protesting. While Obama later distanced himself from the statement, it is not surprising that an embassy under his watch would offer such drivel, as the placating of Muslims seems to be engrained in the administration’s DNA.
10. Cairo hubris
The hubris of Barack Obama is astonishing. Who else would actually believe that a speech to the Arab world would somehow persuade Muslims everywhere to set aside their hatred of America? Yet Obama’s key strategic initiative in the Middle East was going to Cairo in June 2009, where he sought a “new beginning” with Islam. The speech seems almost quaint today, talking about his own common bond to the faith during his childhood in Indonesia, where now mobs are burning him in effigy.

Joint Naval War Games with Egypt

America keeps poking its fingers in the eyes of an Almighty God by aiding and abetting Israel's enemies.  God has made it quite clear that He will bless those who bless His chosen people, the Jews, and curse those who curse them.  Somehow, I think training Israel's enemies, who will most assuredly use this training against Israel, falls under the category of cursing the Jewish people.

Read from The Hill:

US, Egypt to begin joint naval war games

Talks are under way between senior Navy officials and their counterparts in Cairo to begin conducting joint war games for the first time since Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi took power earlier this year
While bilateral discussions on the naval drills are still being discussed, the exercises would focus on improving Egypt's ability to deal with small boat attacks and general patrol operations of its coastal waters, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan Greenert told reporters Thursday.
In the near term, the Pentagon is laying out the conditions with the country's new military leaders to allow American warships to begin docking at Egyptian ports again, Greenert said during a speech at an Association of the U.S. Navy-sponsored event in Washington that same day.
The Navy has always maintained a strong relationship with Morsi's predecessor, former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak, but those ties had "atrophied" in recent years as Mubarak's government clung to power, according to Greenert.
The renewed port calls and military drills will help reinforce those ties in a region that has been roiled by a wave of power shifts and revolutions during the Arab Spring movement.
Last February, Mubarak was one of the many Arab leaders ousted from power by that wave.
Plans for U.S. naval reengagement began shortly after Morsi, in one of his first official acts as Egyptian president, reshuffled the country's military leadership last month.
At that time, Greenert said he reached out to Egypt's newly installed naval chief to congratulate him on his new position. In response, the Egypt's top naval officer suggested that it was time to start looking at joint training exercises with the United States
The deal also comes at a critical time for the Morsi administration, who is leading Egypt's difficult transition to democratic rule in the face of growing anti-American sentiment fueled by rising Islamic radicalism in the country.
On Sept. 11, a mob of protestors stormed the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, breaching the building's outer walls and burning the American flag before being repelled by U.S. and local security forces.
The protest coincided with a suspected terrorist attack against the U.S. Consulate in Libya, which resulted in the deaths of four Americans including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens.
During Tuesday's speech, Greenert was asked if the rise in anti-U.S. attitudes in the Mideast, in the aftermath of the Arab Spring movement, has raised any alarms among Navy leaders.
The Navy's Fifth Fleet is headquartered in Bahrain, which emerged as one of the political hot spots during the movement's peak. U.S. warships also frequently dock at a number of countries touched by the Arab Spring during their operations in the Mideast.
"We're not concerned yet, but we are keeping an eye on it," he replied, adding increased engagements like the ones planned for Egypt will help quell those concerns.
Morsi sacked Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, the powerful head of the country's military, and the chiefs of Egypt's armed forces in August.
Tantawi and the country's top military brass had been part of the ruling military council that had run Egypt since Mubarak was removed from power six months earlier.
The move effectively eliminated Morsi's chef political opposition as well as the massive restrictions the military council imposed on Morsi's administration after his election earlier this year.

More Money for Obama's Favorite People

This is shameful!  America is bankrupt, and Obama is passing out money as if its candy to Islamic nations who hate us and our freedoms.  They grab it with their greedy little hands and turn around and burn more American flags while calling "Death to America".

Obama Spends $300 Million on Construction Projects… For Palestinians

Gaza protesters show their gratitude to the United States.
The Obama Administration will spend $300 million on construction projects in Gaza and the West Bank.
Gaza is controlled by Hamas terrorists.
World Net Daily reported:
The Obama administration has released details of a plan to infuse another $300 million into West Bank and Gaza construction projects, spending it deems critical toward attaining the “success of a future Palestinian state.”
Despite combined U.S. and international donor-community efforts, a significant portion of the public infrastructure currently under Palestinian Authority control remains in need of expansion or repair, according to the U.S. Agency for International Development, the USAID.
Obama, through USAID, is stepping in to meet the need as a successful Palestinian state “depends upon an infrastructure system capable of providing basic services to a growing population,” the agency said in a Statement of Work released Sept. 24.
The Local Construction Project, or LCP, on the other hand, explicitly forbids the transfer of funds to PA-owned or controlled entities – though it likewise mandates that subsequent awards are given to local contractors, thereby excluding the participation of U.S. vendors.
Despite the prohibition against the awarding of contracts to government-affiliated firms, the PA indeed will directly benefit from the LCP.

Another Violation of Free Speech

Pamela Geller of the blog Atlas Shrugs is one of the bravest women in America.  She has spoken out against the forces of darkness coming from Islam, and she has been savagely attacked in her efforts.  Yet, she shakes off these attacks and moves on in her mission to stop the Islamization of our nation.

Her most recent effort involves ads in the NYC transit system which dares to call Palestinians "savages".  Both Muslims and the Left are hysterical over these truthful ads.

Under much pressure, the NYC Transit Authority has caved and has prohibited Geller's ads.  However, the feisty Pam is not backing down.  She will sue them for violating her right to free speech.  Stay tuned to see the outcome of this controversy.

Read from Joshua Pundit:

Islamists Win One - NYC Transit To Prohibit Ads That Could 'Incite Violence'

You'll remember that self described 'proud savage' Mona Eltahawy was arrested in New York City for vandalizing an anti-jihad, pro Israel ad in a New York subway station and spray painting a woman who tried to stop her.

Well, New York City's Metropolitan Transit Authority met hurriedly to change its guidelines on advertising and ruled 8-0 that it will henceforth prohibit any advertisements that it “reasonably foresees would imminently incite or provoke violence or other immediate breach of the peace.”

In other words, anti-Israel or anti-Semitic ads, or advertisements for New York City's Piss Christ exhibit  are perfectly acceptable, because the MTA feels there's no danger of Jews or Christians rioting or committing violence over them. An ad like the one above that is merely perceived as being critical of Islam by its adherents is going to be banned.

Essentially, New York City's transit authority is rewarding criminal behavior based on its own laws,  cringing into dhimmitude and obeying the sharia guidelines for the anti-blasphemy laws the Islamists world wide are pushing for.

Pam Geller, whose organization is behind the pro-Israel, anti-jihad ads remains optimistic that her ads are not going to be affected. As she writes, if the MTA bans her ads, 'we'll just sue again.'

Stay tuned.

You're Fired After Five Drunken Sprees and Three Uses of Drug

That is the case if you are a school teacher in America's fine public school system.  BTW, those rules do not  apply to students.

Once again, the teachers' union not looking out for the kids.  It's becoming evident that it is nearly impossible to get fired if you are a teacher in America's public schools.

Read from Weasel Zippers:

Union Contract: Teachers Can Be Caught In School Drunk Five Times And On Drugs Three Times Before Being Fired…

Example #45,927,487 why unions have no place in modern-day America.
Via Capcon:
Forget zero tolerance. Bay City Public School teachers for years could be caught repeatedly under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol without being fired.
Teachers in possession or under the influence of illegal drugs could be caught three times before they lost their job, and they got five strikes if they were drunk on school grounds before being fired. A school district official said the language in the union contract that protects teachers for those instances “was incorporated into the teacher Master Agreement in 1997.”
Those protections also were included in the Bay City Education Association teacher’s contract that was agreed to in January. That contract expired June 30 and negotiations on a new contract are ongoing.
Students weren’t given as many chances. The code of conduct for middle school and high school students states that if they are found to be under the influence or in possession of illegal drugs, they get a 5-day suspension or a 3-day suspension with counseling on the first offense.
A teacher caught selling drugs in class would get a 3-day suspension without pay with mandatory counseling, but wouldn’t be fired unless the teacher did it a second time.

Obama's Present to Egypt -- UPDATE

Wanna earn a quick $450 million?  Torch an American flag and lead a violent anti-American protest, and Obama will happily accommodate you.

Read from Gateway Pundit:

It’s an Obama world…
Obama gave the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood government $450 million two weeks after protesters stormed the US embassy and torched the American flag.
The New York Times reported:
The Obama administration notified Congress on Friday that it would provide Egypt’s new government an emergency cash infusion of $450 million, but the aid immediately encountered resistance from a prominent lawmaker wary of foreign aid and of Egypt’s new course under the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The aid is part of the $1 billion in assistance that the Obama administration has pledged to Egypt to bolster its transition to democracy after the overthrow last year of the former president, Hosni Mubarak. Its fate, however, was clouded by concerns over the new government’s policies and, more recently, the protests that damaged the American Embassy in Cairo.
The United States Agency for International Development notified Congress of the cash infusion on Friday morning during the pre-election recess, promptly igniting a smoldering debate over foreign aid and the administration’s handling of crises in the Islamic world.

Dearbornistan Rally Against Free Speech -- UPDATED

If you've ever wondered if American Muslims place higher priority on being American or on their false religion, look no longer.  Too many of them have no respect for our First Amendment right to freedom of religion, at least not when it involves an attack on Mohammed.

ISLAMIC LEADERS IN DEARBORN MICH. PLAN RALLY TO SUPPORT SPEECH PROHIBITION

Islamic leaders in Dearborn, Mich. are holding a rally this Friday night to build momentum for the passage of laws that prohibit speech or expression that hurts "the religious feelings of Muslims."

Put together in response to the film "Innocence of Muslims,"  rally organizer Tarek Baydoun said, "We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to sow the seeds of hate and discord against the religious beliefs of others." Rally co-organizer Osama Siblani added, "There is a need for deterrent legal measures against those individuals or groups that want to damage relations between people, spread hate and incite violence."
In other words, it appears one of the goals of the rally will be the eventual creation of blasphemy laws: laws that would reflect an international movement toward banning speech that is critical of Islam or Mohammed.
Ironically, this rally comes at a time when hate crimes toward Muslims in America have dropped more 50% in the last ten years. For example, in 2001 hate crimes against Muslims constituted approximately 28% of all such crimes in America, but in 2010 that category of crime against Muslims only constituted 12.7%.
This drop in crime was not due to blasphemy laws or other curbs on free speech.

"We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to sow the seeds of hate and discord against the religious beliefs of others."

Oh, really?  Based on that statement, how can they spew the vile filth we hear them speak about Jews and Christians?

Americans Are Waking Up to Obama's Foreign Policy Failures

The Arab Spring is taking its toll on Obama's foreign policy ratings.  He has slipped fifteen points.  This will have a huge effect on the election.  Foreign policy was the only area for which Obama had high ratings.  That's not the case any longer.

New Poll Finds More Americans Think Romney Will Be Tougher On Terrorism, Erases 9 Point Deficit To Lead By 6…

But… but… but… he’s the “foreign policy president” or something.
Via Foreign Policy Mag:
The foreign-policy results of the new Bloomberg National Poll haven’t gotten much attention yet, but the survey contains some bad news for the Obama campaign. According to the poll, Mitt Romney has a 48-42 advantage over Barack Obama on the question of which candidate would be tougher on terrorism. Romney, in other words, has encroached on one of Obama’s signature strengths.
What makes this result so surprising is that the president has consistently trounced Romney when it comes to counterterrorism. A Fox News poll earlier this month found that 49 percent of respondents trusted Obama to do a better job than Romney in protecting the United States from terrorist attacks, compared with 41 percent who put their faith in the Republican candidate. The president had a 51-40 advantage on handling terrorism in an ABC News/Washington Post poll around the same time, and a 50-35 edge on carrying out the war on terror in an Ipsos/Reuters poll in August. The Democrats’ rare national-security muscle was on full display at their convention, where speakers boasted about the administration’s successful raid against Osama bin Laden and targeted killings of al Qaeda leaders.
The Bloomberg poll contains other grim findings for Obama — such as declining approval of the president’s diplomacy and a neck-and-neck battle between Obama and Romney on flashpoint campaign issues such as energy independence, Chinese trade practices, relations with Israel, and Iran’s nuclear program (61 percent of respondents were skeptical about Obama’s pledge to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon). There are also bright spots for the president, like healthy skepticism about Romney’s promise to designate China a currency manipulator and Obama’s continued advantage over Romney on the question of which candidate would be better suited to handle a Mideast crisis.
