Susan Rice: A Shill for the President

The more I hear about Susan Rice, the better John Kerry sounds, and I don't care for Kerry in the least.  Besides, at least if Kerry became our next secretary of state, that would save our troops from having to serve under a much-hated Secretary of Defense John Kerry.

Susan Rice & Benghazi, the Reality Keeps Getting Worse

For weeks after the September 11, 2012 attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi and subsequent murder during the attacks of 4 Americans, we were told that the attacks were the result of a spontaneous demonstration due a YouTube video. Evidence at that time pointed to the fact that such a case was not true since the attackers were incredibly well armed and coordinated.  Yet still, the Obama administration continued to push that narrative.
Slowly, more evidence of what the government knew and when they knew it began to come out. We learned that Ambassador Chris Stevens had requested increased security in Benghazi multiple times and was denied. We learned that he alerted the Obama administration to the fact that things were highly unstable there and that Al Qaeda forces were growing, yet the Obama administration did nothing. We learned that during the course of the attacks, the Obama administration watched the events in real-time.
We learned that despite the brutal murder of these 4 Americans, the consulate building sat empty and unsecure for weeks before the FBI went in for a mere 24 hours for their ‘investigation’. Of course, by this time, the integrity of the scene had been compromised and many classified documents were missing. We learned that the then head of the CIA, General David Petraeus, stated in his briefings that he believed this attack to be the work of terrorists. Petraeus testified to this at his congressional testimony and also stated that someone else somewhere in the administration must have changed his documents to take out any reference to terrorism.
Still, despite all of this, the Obama administration’s response turned from “the attack was the result of a YouTube video” to “we are investigating”.  In the midst of this chaotic mess in which the Obama administration was constantly evading the truth by outright lying, they sent out Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice on multiple Sunday morning talk shows. During her appearances, she constantly reiterated the same talking point, “The attack was the spontaneous response to the YouTube video.” Many criticized that she was simply being a puppet for the Obama administration and Obama even came to her defense stating during a press conference on November 14th, “If Sen. McCain and Sen. Graham and others want to go after somebody, they should go after me.” Obama went on to add, “When they go after the U.N. ambassador apparently because they think she’s an easy target, then they’ve got a problem with me.”
Obama painted Ambassador Susan Rice as a poor, little wallflower unable to take care of herself and requiring him to run to her rescue. We were told that she was simply saying what she knew based upon the talking points she was given. A Fox News report this morning clearly shows that this reality that Obama was trying to sell was yet another outright lie.
This morning, Fox News reported that, contrary to what the American people had been told, Susan Rice had access to all of the highly classified and detailed information regarding Benghazi long before her appearance on those Sunday talk shows. She knew, yet still she went out there and lied. No wonder the Republican Senators were even more disturbed than ever after meeting with her regarding her potential nomination for the Secretary of State position. It is also no wonder that the radical feminists and race baiters have come out in full force in an effort to frame opposition to this nomination as misogynistic and racist in an effort to deflect attention away from the obvious….the truth does not bode well for Susan Rice.
The American people deserve better than an administration that will lie without blinking an eye in an effort to cover their culpability. These new revelations about the knowledge that Susan Rice possessed should also preclude her from even being considered as Secretary of State. Whoever holds this position should not be a shill for the president and Susan Rice has shown herself to be just that. The Republican Party needs to stand firm in their opposition to the appointment of Susan Rice. To do anything less would be an insult to an American people, to those 4 individual who were brutally murdered in Benghazi, and would reward the constant habit of lying that this Obama administration possesses.
