Obama's Jobs Council - MIA For 6 Months
An interesting statistic surfaced today.
While President Obama has been mouthing off about creating jobs, his non-partisan jobs council hasn't met once in almost six months.
Zilch.
Nada.
Nichevo.
Bupkes.
Or as a fired up Mitt Romney put it at a town hall meeting in Ohio:
“You know what he's been doing over the last six months?" Romney asked in a crowded gymnasium at a community center here. “In the last six months he has held 100 fundraisers. And guess how many meetings he has had with his jobs council? None. Zero. Zero in the last six months.”
Well,let's be fair. As White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters when asked about it, "The president has a lot on his plate".
Yes, he does.
And he's been busy. Telling everyone about the Evil Romneysaurus. Avoiding and spinning questions about his record. Covering for Eric Holder.
Takes up a lot of time, it does.
