A Backdoor Move to Impose Gun Control

We don't hear a peep from the American Pravda, but while Americans are otherwise occupied with their daily demands, the Obama regime is secretly attempting to take away our Second Amendment right to bear arms.  Obama and his minions are well aware that they could never do this in the open because too many Americans would be livid, and their leftist hides would suffer at the voting booth.

Therefore, they are doing what they do best -- resorting to secretive measures, hoping that we will be oblivious to their actions before we can stop them.  And they are using the useful idiots at the UN to accomplish their goal of disarming America.  Wake up before it's too late and warn everyone you know.

TYRANNY: Watching The World Move Towards The Tribulation

This shouldn't come as a a big surprise, but moving into the tribulation era is a process (remember, we already know that the birthpains will last for the entire generation), and it will officially begin when the antichrist "confirms" the covenant of Daniel 9:27. And seeing who is playing a "key role" will make you laugh or cry...Maybe both. If one goes through the back pages of history and reviews any rise of any tyrannical government you will always see draconian gun control measures taken. Every single time.

A treaty being hammered out this month at the United Nations -- with Iran playing a key role -- could expose the records of America's gun owners to foreign governments -- and, critics warn, eventually put the Second Amendment on global trial.

The world body has already been criticized for appointing Iran to a key role in the talks, even as Tehran stands accused by the UN of arming Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's bloody crackdown on rebels.

The Obama administration in 2009 reversed Bush administration policy by agreeing to take part in the talks.

LaPierre, who serves as NRA executive vice president, warns that the “UN’s refusal” to remove civilian firearms and ammunition from the scope of the treaty amounts to a declaration that only governments should be gun owners.

Another fear is that Arab or other states critical of Israel may use any treaty language on human rights standards to argue against U.S. arms transfers to the Israeli government – much in the same way they currently use the UN Human Rights Council to repeatedly condemn Israel.

LaPierre says the treaty that is likely to emerge will have the effect of squeezing individual gun owners in the United States and elsewhere by imposing on them an onerous collection of regulations.

“If they get this through, then what comes along is the institutionalizing of the whole gun control-ban movement within the bureaucracy of UN – with a permanent funding mechanism that we [in America] will be mainly paying for,” he said.

NRA Takes Aim At Weapons Treaty

"Depending on the scope of this treaty, it could impact gun registration requirements in the United States, it could enact a ban on commonly owned firearms, it could require tracking and registration of ammunition purchases, and it could create a global gun control bureaucracy within the U.N.," says Andrew Arulanandam, director of public affairs at the National Rifle Association. Arulanandam says the NRA will lobby the Senate to reject ratification if the president signs the treaty.

While actions at the UN posed a serious threat to our right to bear arms, few acknowledged the legitimacy of the issue and fewer still had even heard anything about it.

The Obama administration is now just a matter of weeks away from joining other foreign powers in the signing of the Arms Trade Treaty at United Nations.

Dick Morris, who is spearheading a petition to stop Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the United States from signing the treaty, explains the inherent dangers within:

…Obama is planning, with Hillary, a backdoor move to impose gun control on the United States.

It’s totally outrageous. You know, Obama has not pushed gun control during his administration – a notable absence for a liberal. But it’s because he was saving the best for last.

Hillary is now negotiating a small arms treaty in the United Nations… The purpose of the small arms treaty is to stop small arms, which they define as pistols, handguns, rifles, assault weapons, even machine guns from being exported to other countries.

It’s entirely a backdoor effort to force gun registration and eventually bans and restrictions with the act of the United States Congress – to do it with international treaty.

One of the deadly parts about this is that when a treaty is signed and made binding in the United States it acquires the force of a Constitutional Amendment. Under the Supremacy Clause, every Congress and every state legislature has to honor that treaty, unless a Constitutional Amendment is passed to the contrary or unless all the other signatories let the U.S. out of the treaty.

So this would be permanent, long-term gun control…all done without Congress.
