Fear and Envy

"Hope and change" has been replaced.  No one in his right mind could find much hope in Obama's policies over the last four years, so "hope" is clearly down the drain.  "Change" -- now, we've seen lots of that.  So, what on earth will the president use as his theme for this presidential campaign?

The articulate Congressman Paul Ryan said it well when he stated that Obama's new slogan could be "fear and envy".  How's that going to work for him?  What made him so attractive to many voters four years ago was his optimism which inspired so many.  Well, that's clearly long gone.

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) told Sean Hannity tonight that he is used to the name-calling by the left. He also said,

“I know that I am putting myself on the right side of history as a person. But more importantly our party is putting itself on the right side of the public by leading. By offering real solutions to prevent a debt crisis, to get this economy growing again so people can go back to work. And, all they’re going to offer is fear and envy.“

As usual, Paul Ryan nailed it.
