That was outrageous in itself, but now he has done something even worse. I know it's hard to imagine it can get any worse, but I assure you, it does. Imagine another four years of this, with no election looming in the future. It's absolutely horrifying!!
Now, he is demanding our military chaplains, men called and anointed by God to preach His truths, to marry homosexuals. In fact, it goes beyond demanding; it looks like he will force them to do so. A true man of God will give up his job before violating the teachings of Scripture. I guess we will soon see which chaplains fall into that category.
Mark my words, and I'm no rocket scientist, just a mere woman who loves and tries to honor the Lord, but if Obama gets re-elected, we Christians will be suffering TRUE persecution in America, a nation founded by dedicated Christians to be a shining city on a hill. Well, the shine sure seems to have dimmed. Sad to say, it's difficult to even see a glimmer of light from the Church. May the Lord have mercy on our nation!!
Read from Gateway Pundit, and be sure to check out the comments section. Several point out that if Obama forces this monstrosity on the Christians, he had better be consistent and require it of the Muslim chaplains as well. You know that won't happen.
Obama Continues His Assault on Christians: Will Force Military Chaplains to Marry Gays
The first gay president will force military chaplains to perform same sex marriages or face repercussions. This follows the administration’s very public assault on the Catholic Church earlier this year with their mandate that forces religious organizations to pay for employees’ birth control.
The Obama administration “strongly objects” to provisions in a House defense authorization bill that would prohibit the use of military property for same-sex “marriage or marriage-like” ceremonies, and protect military chaplains from negative repercussions for refusing to perform ceremonies that conflict with their beliefs, according to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).In a policy statement released Wednesday, the OMB outlined numerous objections to aspects of the fiscal year 2013 National Defense Authorization Bill (H.R. 4310). The bill was reported out of the House Armed Services Committee last week and is set to be debated in the House, beginning WednesdayOverall, it recommends that President Obama veto H.R. 4310 if its cumulative effects “impede the ability of the Administration to execute the new defense strategy and to properly direct scarce resources.”The veto warning is not specifically linked to the two provisions dealing with marriage, but they are listed among parts of the bill which the administration finds objectionable.
It’s more of the change he promised.
