President Obama is playing with fire over the provision in ObamaCare requiring Catholic organizations to purchase healthcare insurance which includes contraceptives and abortion drugs. This is a clear violation of freedom of religion. Yet, the former constitutional law professor seems to take special pleasure in trampling on our Constitution, while portraying himself as a "committed Christian". What a laugh that is!
I sure hope when it's all said and done that Obama himself is the one who gets burnt over this controversy.

Barack Obama promised fellow democrats today in a closed door meeting that he would continue to keep his boot on the neck of the Catholic Church of America.
ABC News reported, via Weasel Zippers:
'President Obama “reinforced” his stance on the controversial contraception mandate while speaking at the Democrats’ annual retreat at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. today, Senate Democrats said.
The retreat was closed to media.
Following President Obama’s speech at the retreat, a small group of Senate Democrats, mostly women, left the retreat early in order to hold a news conference on Capitol Hill to counter the Republicans’ news conference today at which they called for the mandate to be overturned.
Democrats said they will “fight strongly” to keep the mandate in place.'
That’s right. Democrats promised to 'fight strongly' because free birth control and abortion pills from the church is a natural human right."
A recent poll on the subject shows that 50% oppose violating religious beliefs while 39% favor.
