Obama's Bark Is Much Worse Than His Bite

Our enemies are, oh so aware, of this fact as they laugh their heads off at the weak man who sits in the White House representing the most powerful nation on the face of the earth -- at least, it used to be.

Where was Barack Obama when the Iranian freedom fighters were crying out for his support after the corrupt presidential election in the summer of 2009? He was nowhere to be seen. Perhaps, he should have invested as much effort in helping the Iranians overthrow Ahmadinejad and the mullahs as he did ousting Hosni Mubarak from Egypt. It seems to me that he chose the wrong nation with which to get involved.

Obama's weak policies have come back to haunt him. As John McCain recently said, Obama's chicken have come home to roost.

Now, he's gotten himself into a real mess with the Iranians planning acts of war within our borders after recently threatening to send ships to our waters. Sounds to me like our enemies in Iran have no fear of the man with the silver tongue.

Of course, Obama is huffing and puffing saying that no options are off the table.

And isn't it interesting that all this has come to light at the same exact time that the Fast and Furious scandal is coming crashing down on Eric Holder's head?

"Another strongly worded love letter from the quisling in the White House to our mortal enemy. Pathetic. He has fast and furious gun runner Holder handling this act of jihad, when this is clearly the jurisdiction of the Department of Defense.

In a stunning and brazen act of war, Iran planned to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador to the United States and bomb the Saudi and Israeli embassies in Washington, DC. Further, the plot was to enlist Mexican drug cartels (already infiltrated by Iran controlled Hezb'allah) to help get the explosives and weapons into the US across the southern border. The Iranian operative arrested in the assassination plot 'expressed utter disregard for collateral damage.'

The goal of the Islamic world is to install a universal caliphate, and Iran is exploiting the vacuum created by a weak and feckless President. Iran's planned act of war on American soil was twofold: to show America to be utterly weak and defeated under Obama, while waging war for Islamic world power, Shia vs Sunni (Iran vs Saudi Arabia). Killing the Saudi ambassador on the soil of her ally and patron would be seen as a great victory for the Shia in the eyes of the ummah (the Muslim world coummunity).

The US response to this grave threat and act of war? A limpwristed, spineless statement, yet again, and another round of toothless sanctions.

Our enemies could not have asked for a better friend in the White House.

U.S. Imposes Terrorism Sanctions on Iran’s Mahan Air Bloomberg


'The U.S. imposed sanctions on Mahan Air, an Iranian commercial airline accused of “secretly ferrying operatives, weapons and funds” on behalf of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Mahan Air is “yet another facet of the IRGC’s extensive infiltration of Iran’s commercial sector to facilitate its support for terrorism,” said Treasury Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence David Cohen, in an e-mailed statement.

Under the designation, U.S. persons are prohibited from engaging in commercial or financial transactions with Mahan Air, and any assets it may hold under U.S. jurisdiction are frozen, the Treasury release said.

The Treasury said that the Tehran-based airline provides transportation, funds transfers and personnel travel services to the Qods Force, the foreign operations unit of the IRGC.

The U.S. Justice Department yesterday alleged that an Iranian member of the Qods Force directed and helped finance a plot to kill the Saudi ambassador to the United States.

“Following the revelation about the IRGC-QF’s use of the international financial system to fund its murder-for-hire plot, today’s action highlights further the undeniable risks of doing business with Iran,” said Cohen.

Mahan Air transported Qods Force personnel to Syria for military training as well as facilitating “covert travel” by suspected Qods Force officers, the Treasury statement said. Mahan Air crews also facilitated arms shipments and money transfers to evade trade restrictions, the statement said.

The Treasury said Mahan Air provides transportation to Hezbollah, the Shiite Muslim group in Lebanon, which the U.S. and Israel classify as a terrorist organization. In addition, the Treasury said, Mahan Air has omitted from cargo manifests “secret weapons shipments” for Hezbollah.'"
