Anyone who reads this blog is well aware that my passion is to stop the Islamization of this country. When I read from Pamela Geller that my favorite candidate, Rick Perry, had some questionable ties to Islam and may have caved to the demands of the "religion of peace", I was deeply disappointed. Her source for her article came from Salon, a leftist blog which would love to destroy Perry's run for the White House. So, that fact must be considered in weighing the truth.
Now, I'm reading articles that both accuse him of being soft on Islam and that say these claims are exaggerated. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure what to think at this point. Regardless, Perry bears watching on this issue. Other than this point and his weakness on immigration, which is an additional concern, he seems like the ideal candidate, and I believe he would be a formidable opponent for Obama. Rick Santorum is well versed on the dangers of Islam, but he isn't going anywhere.
The American Pravda evidently thinks Perry is a huge threat to Obama, as Chris Matthews has stated that the media will spend every nickel they have investigating him. At least for once, they are being honest about their intentions.
