If Iowa thinks Michele Bachmann and Ron Paul have a chance to defeat obama in 2012 they really need to stop smoking that Mexican agriculture.

The left pulled this crap last time with phony positive McCain and Palin poll numbers and with democrats cross voting for McCain in the primaries it was a loser from the start.

with all the lefts dead voters, convicts and illegals voting for the democrats, Republicans really have to win with big numbers.

Romney/Perry or Perry/Romney in 2012 or this country will be on a collision course with disaster.

Perry needs to convince me he will do what is needed to stop illegal immigration. His immigration record is horrible and that needs to be a top priority for Perry and it is not. He can say tough stuff about the border but his record says otherwise.

I'm tired of the same old lip service that voters keep falling for time and time again. I am not tossing my support in to anyone yet and to say Perry is my man just when he just stepped into the race would be irresponsible of me.

I am not going to run to Perry just because the rest of the field is not lighting the country on fire yet.

Please do your research and ask the hard questions of your candidate of choice.

I am not saying Perry is not my vote in the long run but I am not going to fully support him just yet.

While his immigration record doesn’t have the tea parties stamp of approval, it's hell of allot better than open borders obama.

How did that tea party pick Scott Brown turn out?

it's real simple, either you get behind a Republican for president or reelect obama.

there were many conservatives unhappy with McCain’s stance on immigration and stayed at home in the last election, what followed was a disaster.

you're never going to find the perfect candidate, Reagan had issues with immigration as well, but I believe his positives outweighed his negatives and is one of the greatest presidents in American history.

Perry has kept taxes low and regulations to a minimum which makes a good atmosphere for business growth and expansion, truly giving businesses the incentive for job creation and growth.

I'll take the two heaviest hitters when it comes to lower taxes and regulations and a conservative that takes our national debt seriously, immigration is small in comparison.
