Pakistan: Islamic Cleric Orders Baby Born Out of Wedlock Stoned to Death…


"KARACHI (AFP) – 'The lifeless bodies of two tiny babies are being given their final bath before burial in Karachi, after they were left to die in the southern Pakistani city’s garbage dumps.

“They can only have been one or two days old,” says volunteer worker Mohammad Saleem, pointing at the two small corpses being gently washed by his colleagues at a charity’s morgue.

In the conservative Muslim nation, where the birth of children outside of marriage is condemned and adultery is a crime punishable by death under strict interpretations of Islamic law, infanticide is a crime on the rise.

…The number of dead infants found last year — 1,210 — was up from 890 in 2008 and 999 in 2009, says the Edhi Foundation manager in Karachi, Anwar Kazmi.

Kazmi recounts the discovery of the burnt body of a six-day-old infant who had been strangled. Another child was found on the steps of a mosque having been stoned to death on the orders of an extremist imam who has since disappeared, he says.'"

GHAZIABAD: 'Police on Tuesday arrested an accused of murdering his wife and daughter in the name of ‘honour.’

According to police, the accused after killing his wife, mother of seven, had hid her body in a heap of woods in a cattle shed and was arranging to burry it when police after having information from their sources found the body. Police arrested the accused and recovered the murder weapons – a hammer and meat cleaver.

The accused has confessed that he killed his wife on suspicion of having illicit relations with another man. He also confessed that he had killed his daughter three months back.

Ghaziabad SHO Atif Zulfiqar said that after receiving information of murder of a woman, he deputed three cops to find out truth and arrest the accused. He said that they went in civvies and succeeded in arresting the accused – Rehmat Ali, husband of deceased Allah Rakhi.

He said the accused had hid the body in a heap of woods and was in a chance to remove it to some other place to burry it. He said the accused killed his wife with repeated strokes of the meat cleaver on her sensitive parts. He said later he pressed her head with a hammer.'"


If you've stayed informed about the barbarity in the Islamic world, these two stories would not shock you. Offend you? Yes, but shock you? No way! However, this next story, though it does not fall under the monster category, I find quite astonishing.

"A trend toward gay and lesbian sex in Pakistani society is rapidly emerging among teenage boys and girls.

In Pakistan's so-called Islamic society, it is a great transgression even to discuss homosexuality, yet youths have been heading toward a sexual mutiny for a decade and a half.

The new generation of Pakistan has rejected all the norms, values, and ethics of a Muslim society. They are totally Westernized and have adopted all the Western societies' norms and values.

In much of Pakistani society, being a lesbian or gay is considered one of the most corrupt and shameful acts, and the society curses it; but despite this hard reality, many young girls and boys are indulging in homosexual relations.

Pakistani society has a number of classes and social divisions, separated by social status, as well as economic, religious, ethnic, and cultural divisions.

The elite class of the country, called the aristocrats by the lower and middle classes, has little to do with the religion in broader aspect of the masses, and they turn themselves toward each and every culture. Among this group, homosexuality is not viewed as objectionable or bad.

Among religious Pakistanis, however, homosexuality — in Islam the proper terminology for homosexuality is sodomy — is a great sin and one of the most distressing acts in Islam.

In this religious society such acts are hidden. Websites of gays and lesbians in Pakistan can be accessed, and the users of these websites can get connected with each other for the fulfillment of sexual desires.

Young college and university boys and girls who cannot take part in sexual intercourse with the opposite sex often turn to gays and lesbians in Pakistan.

The number of lesbians in Pakistan has increased at an alarming rate owing to the increasing percentage of females in Pakistan. According to the government's population census, females make up 52 percent of the total population, but NGOs place the percentage of females in the population closer to 60 percent."
