I hope you all have a happy new year. Let's hope and pray that the economy will improve this year and that we will see more people back to work and able to provide for their families without depending on the government, though with Obama in charge, I don't have a lot of confidence in this occurring.
I will be taking a three week break from blogging. This is something I feel the Lord is leading me to do. If anyone wants to leave comments, I will be happy to post them.

With govt taking nearly 50% of income, including federal, state, local, along with them finding ways to tax damn near everything else, i'd like to know just how much you want to make?
Teaching is no more important most other jobs.
Construction workers built the building you teach in. Harvested the lumber and other raw materials used to build it. Built power lines to it. Truckers hauled everything on site. Engineers designed it. Farmers supply the food you eat. Someone built the car you drive to work. Discovered, drilled for and refined the gas and oil in it. The clothes you wear. It takes millions of people everyday to make this country go.
The PRODUCERS. The private sector taxpayers made this country what it is, not govt slugs.

Yeah, he used (in hindsight) poorly-timed phraseology, for which the website had the sensitivity to remove. They didn't remove it for the content of what the guy said -- they weren't trying to hide at least one supporter's disenchantment wih Giffords -- but because of the the unfortunate "dead to me" phrase. I understand that rightwingnuts don't HAVE any sensibilities to be affected by sad events like this, but it's hardly right for you to castigate others that DO have some sensitivities. And I'm sure, by the time MoreLies resumes her slanderous campaign, she'll have found some other rightwingnut commentator who will be able to link the shooter with radical Islam and/or Barack Obama.
