WASHINGTON (AP) — 'Democratic voters are closely divided over whether President Barack Obama should be challenged within the party for a second term in 2012, an Associated Press-Knowledge Networks Poll finds.
That glum assessment carries over into the nation at large, which is equally divided over whether Obama should be a one-term president.
A real Democratic challenge to Obama seems unlikely at this stage and his re-election bid is a long way off. But the findings underscore how disenchanted his party has grown heading into the congressional elections Tuesday.
The AP-KN poll has tracked a group of people and their views since the beginning of the 2008 presidential campaign. Among all 2008 voters, 51 percent say he deserves to be defeated in November 2012 while 47 percent support his re-election — essentially a tie.
Among Democrats, 47 percent say Obama should be challenged for the 2012 nomination and 51 percent say he should not be opposed. Those favoring a contest include most who backed Hillary Rodham Clinton’s unsuccessful faceoff against Obama for the 2008 nomination. The poll did not ask if Democrats would support particular challengers.'"

Iran, where a woman convicted of adultery has been sentenced to death by stoning, is poised to become a board member of the new United Nations agency to promote equality for women.
The move has sparked outrage from the US and human rights groups. Some rights groups are also upset that Saudi Arabia, where women are not allowed to drive and are barred from many facilities used by men, is also trying to join the governing body of UN Women.
The General Assembly resolution adopted in July that merged four UN bodies dealing with women’s issues into a single agency with greater clout to represent half the world’s population calls for a 41-member executive board, with 35 members chosen by regional groups and six representing donor nations.
The Asian group has put forward an uncontested 10-nation list that includes Iran, UN diplomats said, and Saudi Arabia has been selected for one of two slots for emerging donor nations.
The 54 nations on the UN Economic and Social Council are expected to elect the UN Women’s board on November 10 and it is possible that other Asian nations or emerging donor nations could become candidates, though diplomats said that is not likely.
Mark Kornblau, spokesman for the US Mission, said Iran’s membership “would send the wrong signal at the start of this exciting new initiative”.
“UN Women is a vital new agency tasked with promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment worldwide,” he said. “We and many other countries are concerned by the negative implications of Iran’s potential board memberships, given its poor record on human rights and the treatment of women.
The stoning sentence against the 43-year-old woman, Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, has raised an international outcry, embarrassing Iran.
A resolution adopted by the General Assembly last year expressed “deep concern” at Iran’s increasing use of executions, death by stoning, torture, flogging and amputations, and its increasing discrimination against religious, ethnic and other minorities.
Philippe Bolopion, UN advocacy director for Human Rights Watch, said “it’s puzzling that Iran would have the nerve to be a candidate for the board of UN Women, and even more puzzling if the Asia group lets Iran get away with it”.
He added: “Having on top of it Saudi Arabia, a country with a track record on women’s rights as horrendous as Iran’s, would add insult to injury.”
Just when you thought the United Nations could not be any more of a useless self-parody, another logic-defying episode comes along.
The UN Human Rights Council has already been taken over by the members of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) and members the Non-Aligned Movement – who together comprise some of the world’s worst human rights abusers – now these sorry bands of despots appear to be positioning their members for leadership of the new Women’s Rights group. Astounding.
The UN Human Rights Council has done absolutely nothing in recent years except issue condemnations of Israel and push resolutions making criticism of Islam illegal. The plight of people in Burma, Sudan, Somalia, Saudia Arabia? Nothing – except endless censure of one tiny Middle East Country that in terms of human development, equality, economic activity and – yes, human rights – puts them all to shame.
The pattern is clear. The OIC and NAM use their disproportionate voting power, the sympathetic credulity of the mainstream media and the inert selfishness of the developed nations to gain power on strategic councils and committees. They then subvert them and turn them to serve their own selfish interests and narratives.
So now what can we expect, as it does the same for women’s rights? Honour killings, FGM, forced and underage marriages, repressive dress codes, discrimination and the chattel status of women in Islam? Fuggedaboudit.
The only things you will be able to hear from the newly Islamised women’s rights group are the sounds of crickets chirping, tumbleweed tumbling; and the self-congratulatory cries of ‘Alahu Akbar’!'"

Previously, I've discussed the coalition which has been formed between the hard left and Islam. This was on full display yesterday at the Stewart-Colbert "sanity" rally in DC. Leave it to the liberals to invite to their rally none other than Cat Stevens, who now goes by the name of Yusuf Islam. He's the same man who called for the death of Salman Rushdie for offending Muslims in his book "The Satanic Verses". Why was he invited to the rally?
I always thought Stevens song "Peace Train" stunk and never could see why anyone liked his singing.

I have previously linked to the video of Yusuf Islam saying what he now denies, but this morning I found this notice where it had once been at YouTube: "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Yusuf Islam." Interestingly enough, however, old Joe Islam doesn't seem troubled by YouTube postings trampling on the copyright for his jahiliyya hippie songs.

Rachel's Tomb to Be a Mosque?
The United Nations has become little more than a shill for Islam. The corrupt organization certainly has done little to prevent war. I'd love to see God give the UN a dose of Genesis 12:3, in which God said regarding his people Israel, "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse."

When it comes to enthusiasm, more Republicans (76 percent) than Democrats (65 percent) are extremely or very interested in the elections, and more Republicans (91 percent) than Democrats (83 percent) plan to vote for their party’s candidate…
…Two-thirds of voters are dissatisfied with the way things are going in the country today, and more than not think Barack Obama’s presidency has made the country weaker (45 percent) rather than stronger (37 percent).
The president’s job approval among registered voters is currently 41 percent, a record low. This compares to 43 percent in mid-October and 46 percent in early September. Half disapprove of Obama’s performance. Among likely voters, negative sentiment is even stronger: 40 percent approve and 55 percent disapprove.
Frustrations are high. Most voters feel dissatisfied (51 percent) or even angry (25 percent) about the way the federal government is working. Just one in five is satisfied (22 percent), while 2 percent are enthusiastic. Angry voters are backing the Republican candidate by a 65-point margin.'"
Frances Fox Piven is among the 2% who are enthusiastic, along with Jimmy Carter, Michael Moore, Van Jones, every Muslim, and all Marxists.

Myth number one, she explains, is that scientists do not know what causes breast cancer.
'Scientists know that most breast cancers are related to the woman being overexposed to a hormone called estrogen, and estrogen is in the birth-control pill,' Malec points out. 'Women are overexposed to estrogen when they have induced abortions. Women are overexposed to estrogen when they drink alcohol.'
Obesity also causes overexposure to the hormone, and women who delay first full-term pregnancy face the same problem.
'Another myth is that there's no cure for breast cancer. We do have a cure for breast cancer, and over 80 percent of women are currently being cured,' the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer president notes.

Qur'an 3:28 warns believers not to take unbelievers as 'friends or helpers' (َأَوْلِيَا -- a word that means more than casual friendship, but something like alliance), 'unless (it be) that ye but guard yourselves against them.' This is a foundation of the idea that believers may legitimately deceive unbelievers when under pressure. The word used for 'guard' in the Arabic is tuqātan (تُقَاةً), the verbal noun from taqiyyatan -- hence the increasingly familiar term taqiyya. Ibn Kathir says that the phrase Pickthall renders as 'unless (it be) that ye but guard yourselves against them' means that 'believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers' may 'show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly. For instance, Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Ad-Darda' said, 'We smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them.' Al-Bukhari said that Al-Hasan said, 'The Tuqyah [taqiyya] is allowed until the Day of Resurrection.' While many Muslim spokesmen today maintain that taqiyya is solely a Shi'ite doctrine, shunned by Sunnis, the great Islamic scholar Ignaz Goldziher points out that while it was formulated by Shi'ites, 'it is accepted as legitimate by other Muslims as well, on the authority of Qur'an 3:28.' The Sunnis of Al-Qaeda practice it today."

Who's Representing CAIR?
We already have Keith Ellison (D-Muslim Brotherhood) in Congress. If Pennsylvanians elect Joe Sestak, the Muslim Brotherhood may get its first representative in the Senate. Just what we need!
Actually, it's rather shocking that Obama preferred Arlen Specter over Sestak in the Pennsylvania primary. Sestak and Obama are like two peas in a pod.

'Since his election to the House in 2006, Democratic Senate candidate Joe Sestak has fended off strong criticism of his relationship with the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a federally designated terrorist co-conspirator shown by FBI evidence to be a front for the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.
Now in a tight race with Republican Pat Toomey for Sen. Arlen Specter's open seat, a report asserting Sestak was caught in a lie – denying that he was ever in the home of the director of CAIR's Pennsylvania chapter for a fundraiser on his behalf – has resurfaced.
CAIR-PA's Iftekhar Hussain affirmed to WND's Aaron Klein yesterday in a recorded interview for Klein's WABC radio show that he hosted a fundraiser for Sestak during the 2006 congressional campaign.
But in an April 9, 2007, radio interview with WPHT's Dom Giordano in Philadelphia, Sestak told a caller he had never been at the CAIR leader's home. The interview, along with a recorded excerpt of a November 2006 lecture by Hussain in which the Muslim leader referred to the event, was reported at the time by Pamela Geller on her Atlas Shrugs blog.
The 2007 radio interview took place just two days after Sestak went through with a controversial decision to speak at CAIR-PA's fundraising banquet in Philadelphia, and the freshman congressman was seeking to minimize the depth of his relationship with the controversial group.
Giordano played the 2006 clip of Hussain on his show earlier this week, and last night he played the portion of the 2007 interview in which a caller named Brian confronted Sestak on his ties to CAIR.
"Have you ever received any funds from CAIR or have you ever been in the home of the chairman of the local CAIR?" the caller asked Sestak.
"No, I haven't," the congressman replied. "I've been in the homes of local American Muslims lots of times. As a matter of fact, they probably have given me a number of fundraisers ... as the local Jewish community has during the campaign. But, no, neither of the other two."
"You haven't been in Mr. Hussain's home," Brian asked again.
"No, I honestly don't think I have," Sestak said. "I don't even know where he lives."
Sestak's spokeswoman April Mellody told Klein yesterday she didn't recognize Hussain's name and was not aware of the congressman ever having been in his home. She promised to inquire further but has not responded.
Sestak was the center of controversy last spring when he revealed the Obama administration offered him a position if he would drop out of the Democratic primary to clear the way for the incumbent, Specter. Republicans charged the offer was illegal, but Democrats insisted it was legitimate because the position was unpaid. Sestak went on to defeat Specter in the Democratic Party primary.
CAIR describes itself as a civil-rights group, but FBI evidence points to its origin as a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood and its offshoot Hamas, and the Justice Department designated it an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terror-finance case in U.S. history. The Washington, D.C.-based group, which has more than a dozen former and current leaders with known associations with violent jihad, is suing WND and two investigators behind the best-selling expose "Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That's Conspiring to Islamize America"
Rich Davis, a 20-year Navy veteran, told WND he recorded Hussain's 2006 lecture at Grove Methodist Church in West Chester, Pa.
Davis was participating in a class taught by Hussain that was part of a 10-week series called "Understanding Islam and the Quran."
Sestak is now the target of a $1 million ad campaign by the Republican Jewish Coalition that criticizes him for his involvement with CAIR, his support of a civilian trial for 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his backing of partisan congressional declarations against Israel.
Prior to Sestak's appearance at the Philadelphia CAIR-PA fundraiser, Jewish leaders held a meeting in which they pleaded with him to withdraw from the event. They argued that even leading Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer has described CAIR as an organization "which we know has ties to terrorism."
Sestak declined and gave a speech to the CAIR supporters in which he lauded the Muslim group for doing "such important and necessary work in a difficult environment to change such perceptions and wrongs – from racial profiling and civil rights to promoting justice and mutual understanding – at a time when it is challenging to be an American-Muslim and pass, for example, through an airport checkpoint."
At the banquet, CAIR-PA gave an award to the Muslim TV network founder who was convicted of beheading his wife. The presentation by Hussain and CAIR National Chairman Parvez Ahmed was made to Muzzammil Hassan less than two months after he was charged with killing his 37-year-old wife, Aasiya Hassan.'

What Is the Most Popular Boy's Name in England?
Europe is reaping the evil that it has sown for decades. It is a godless continent, filled with individuals who are too self-centered to see children as a gift from God. I can only imagine what the abortion rates is, as they have historically low birth rates.
Therefore, the Europeans have been forced to bring in immigrants to replace the children they reject. The majority of these immigrants come from Islamic countries, and many refuse to assimilate with the European population. As they grow more and more radicalized, the continent has grown intensely anti-Semitic. How sad that Europeans have not learned any lessons from the horrors of the Holocaust.
As Europe rejects God, He has rejected them and is in the process of turning this once godly land over to Islam. Unfortunately, this process is moving at a rapid pace, as the number one boy's name in England is now Mohammed. That reminds me of the days when I lived in the Middle East as a young girl, and it seemed like nearly every Arab man was named Mohammed.

Watch What You Fall For
The bloom is off the rose. The "great uniter" is instead the "great divider", and an arrogant one at that. At least we can rejoice because he has awoken the sleeping giant, and an added bonus is: he's destroying the Democratic Party. Oh, happy day!

“'I don’t want to pit Red America against Blue America; I want to be the President of the United States of America.' That was of course one of Barack Obama’s signature lines when he was on the campaign trail in 2008. Those words succinctly expressed a dream that has always appealed to the electorate: finding a leader who would put an end to partisan bickering and political propaganda. Americans desperately wanted to believe that Barack Obama was just such a man, but of course he never was. Soon after he took the oath of office, it became apparent that the Great Uniter was going to be as polarizing a president as the nation has seen for quite some time. Indeed, another couple of sentences from the president’s 2008 stump speech come to mind. Obama used them to attack the Bush administration, but they resonate all the more strongly today: 'We were promised a uniter, and we got a president who could not even lead the half of the country that voted for him,' Obama said. 'We were promised a more ethical and more efficient government, and instead we have a town called Washington that is more corrupt and more wasteful than it was before.'
Today, the president’s centrist façade – one that fooled even some erstwhile conservatives – has been completely stripped away. We don’t have a post-racial, post-partisan president who is going to nurture compromise and understanding. We rather have a president who highlights and exploits racial and ideological divisions for political purposes. We have a president whose idea of compromise is that anyone who disagrees with his policies ought to change their mind or shut up. All of these unseemly tactics – the very tactics that Obama condemned two short years ago – are on full display as Election Day 2010 draws near. Desperate to salvage a Democratic majority in at least one house of Congress, the president is using the politics of fear and division like a sledgehammer, hoping to carve out just enough voting blocs to save the day.
Channeling Harry Reid, Obama recently implied that the Republican Party is the enemy of the Latino community in America. The president said: 'If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, "We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us" … then I think it’s gonna be harder.' He’s not even bothering to try to be subtle anymore. The idea that politicians of either party should do what’s best for all Americans, regardless of race, has been tossed out the window in name of political expediency.
Campaigning in Rhode Island, the president once again dragged out his tired 'car in the ditch' metaphor, but with an unfortunate twist. Describing his administration’s soon to be successful (any day now – just you wait and see) efforts to get the economy back on track, Obama said the car would soon be moving again. However: 'We can’t have special interests sitting shotgun,' he declared. 'We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.'
Yet there’s more to this statement than meets the eye. It’s an appeal to class warfare. Obama may give occasional lip-service to the free-market, but this administration’s rhetoric seeks to make voters believe that they have only two choices: a country dominated by big corporations, or a country dominated by Big Government. A vote against Obama’s vision, he would have us believe, is a vote to put big oil, Wall Street, inter alia, in the driver’s seat. Indeed, the party line on the Left when it criticizes the Tea Party movement these days is that Tea Partiers are merely shills for corporate America. That’s ludicrous of course, as anyone who has interacted with these salt-of-the-earth protesters knows.
Now, there’s no denying that big businesses played a role in the economic disaster that the nation has endured. But it’s equally true, if not more so, that Big Government did its part to trash the economy as well. Most Americans, who instinctively understand the value of the free market, support a government that uses a light touch to guard against the worst excesses of capitalism, but not a government that puts a stranglehold on initiative, innovation, and enterprise. Obama, who has never earned a dime in the private sector, doesn’t understand this point of view at all, and thus he continues to try and convince voters that if they don’t support the benevolent efforts of his vision of government, then they’re aiding and abetting cigar-smoking robber barons who will steal their savings and enslave their children. The great swathes of the middle class who are not 'anti-government,' but who in fact simply want smaller, less-expensive government, are not welcome in the presidential limousine of state. Well, unless they sit in the back and keep our mouths shut of course.
The president’s supporters have dutifully followed his divisive lead. In Kentucky, a MoveOn.org activist tried to rush Rand Paul’s car, leading to an ugly incident with a Paul supporter. On 'The View,' Joy Behar twice called Sharron Angle, Tea Party favorite and the Republican candidate for Harry Reid’s seat in the U.S. Senate, a 'bitch.' Democrats warn African-Americans that each vote for a Republican is a vote for racism, while women are told that the GOP dreams of resurrecting an America in which members of the fairer sex are always barefoot, pregnant, obedient, and thoroughly exploited. This is the latest example of an age-old Democratic strategy: uniting a coalition of supposed victims.

One cannot help but wonder if this 'divide and conquer' strategy will ultimately do the president’s party more harm than good. If the Obama administration had a record of success to run on, it might be effective. But, the fact is that all the president has to offer is the promise that it will accomplish something — someday. There are many Democratic candidates who have been trying to distance themselves from the healthcare bill, the stimulus packages, and the other excesses of the Obama administration. Yet, Obama’s rush to defend his dubious record and to carve out victim classes leaves such candidates less opportunity to move towards to the middle. Like a gambling addict who has sat at the table for far too long, the president has tossed aside any pretense of caution or prudence. “'I don’t want to pit Red America against Blue America; I want to be the President of the United States of America.' That was of course one of Barack Obama’s signature lines when he was on the campaign trail in 2008. Those words succinctly expressed a dream that has always appealed to the electorate: finding a leader who would put an end to partisan bickering and political propaganda. Americans desperately wanted to believe that Barack Obama was just such a man, but of course he never was. Soon after he took the oath of office, it became apparent that the Great Uniter was going to be as polarizing a president as the nation has seen for quite some time. Indeed, another couple of sentences from the president’s 2008 stump speech come to mind. Obama used them to attack the Bush administration, but they resonate all the more strongly today: 'We were promised a uniter, and we got a president who could not even lead the half of the country that voted for him,' Obama said. 'We were promised a more ethical and more efficient government, and instead we have a town called Washington that is more corrupt and more wasteful than it was before.'
Today, the president’s centrist façade – one that fooled even some erstwhile conservatives – has been completely stripped away. We don’t have a post-racial, post-partisan president who is going to nurture compromise and understanding. We rather have a president who highlights and exploits racial and ideological divisions for political purposes. We have a president whose idea of compromise is that anyone who disagrees with his policies ought to change their mind or shut up. All of these unseemly tactics – the very tactics that Obama condemned two short years ago – are on full display as Election Day 2010 draws near. Desperate to salvage a Democratic majority in at least one house of Congress, the president is using the politics of fear and division like a sledgehammer, hoping to carve out just enough voting blocs to save the day.
Channeling Harry Reid, Obama recently implied that the Republican Party is the enemy of the Latino community in America. The president said: 'If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, "We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us" … then I think it’s gonna be harder.' He’s not even bothering to try to be subtle anymore. The idea that politicians of either party should do what’s best for all Americans, regardless of race, has been tossed out the window in name of political expediency.
Campaigning in Rhode Island, the president once again dragged out his tired 'car in the ditch' metaphor, but with an unfortunate twist. Describing his administration’s soon to be successful (any day now – just you wait and see) efforts to get the economy back on track, Obama said the car would soon be moving again. However: 'We can’t have special interests sitting shotgun,' he declared. 'We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.'
Yet there’s more to this statement than meets the eye. It’s an appeal to class warfare. Obama may give occasional lip-service to the free-market, but this administration’s rhetoric seeks to make voters believe that they have only two choices: a country dominated by big corporations, or a country dominated by Big Government. A vote against Obama’s vision, he would have us believe, is a vote to put big oil, Wall Street, inter alia, in the driver’s seat. Indeed, the party line on the Left when it criticizes the Tea Party movement these days is that Tea Partiers are merely shills for corporate America. That’s ludicrous of course, as anyone who has interacted with these salt-of-the-earth protesters knows.
Now, there’s no denying that big businesses played a role in the economic disaster that the nation has endured. But it’s equally true, if not more so, that Big Government did its part to trash the economy as well. Most Americans, who instinctively understand the value of the free market, support a government that uses a light touch to guard against the worst excesses of capitalism, but not a government that puts a stranglehold on initiative, innovation, and enterprise. Obama, who has never earned a dime in the private sector, doesn’t understand this point of view at all, and thus he continues to try and convince voters that if they don’t support the benevolent efforts of his vision of government, then they’re aiding and abetting cigar-smoking robber barons who will steal their savings and enslave their children. The great swathes of the middle class who are not 'anti-government,' but who in fact simply want smaller, less-expensive government, are not welcome in the presidential limousine of state. Well, unless they sit in the back and keep our mouths shut of course.
The president’s supporters have dutifully followed his divisive lead. In Kentucky, a MoveOn.org activist tried to rush Rand Paul’s car, leading to an ugly incident with a Paul supporter. On 'The View,' Joy Behar twice called Sharron Angle, Tea Party favorite and the Republican candidate for Harry Reid’s seat in the U.S. Senate, a 'bitch.' Democrats warn African-Americans that each vote for a Republican is a vote for racism, while women are told that the GOP dreams of resurrecting an America in which members of the fairer sex are always barefoot, pregnant, obedient, and thoroughly exploited. This is the latest example of an age-old Democratic strategy: uniting a coalition of supposed victims.

One cannot help but wonder if this 'divide and conquer' strategy will ultimately do the president’s party more harm than good. If the Obama administration had a record of success to run on, it might be effective. But, the fact is that all the president has to offer is the promise that it will accomplish something — someday. There are many Democratic candidates who have been trying to distance themselves from the healthcare bill, the stimulus packages, and the other excesses of the Obama administration. Yet, Obama’s rush to defend his dubious record and to carve out victim classes leaves such candidates less opportunity to move towards to the middle. Like a gambling addict who has sat at the table for far too long, the president has tossed aside any pretense of caution or prudence. Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
The Greek word for fornication is ekporneuo, and it means to be utterly unchaste. It is the Greek word from which English derives the word pornography. A person who is utterly unchaste would have continuously unclean thoughts. That is why pornography is so dangerous because it can completely control the mind and make ones thoughts unchaste.
The Bible then defines fornication as any sexual activity outside of marriage. It is an inclusive term. Remember, marriage is between one man and one woman. The definition of fornication would then include: heterosexual relations before marriage, homosexual relations at any time, incest, bestiality, prostitution and pornography. All sex outside of marriage is considered fornication by God.
With this understanding that the New Testament identifies homosexuality as fornication, let's look and see what the Lord Jesus said about it. The Lord said that what comes forth from the spiritual heart of a man defiles him. Sin originates from the heart and then proceeds to action. Fornication is one of the sins that He listed which defiles a man.
Sin first originates in the heart, then is dwelt upon in the mind and then acted upon by the will. The Lord Jesus said that the act of fornication defiles a man. Fornication is lumped with the evils of murder, thefts, lying, etc. Both the books of Matthew and Mark record the Lord Jesus condemning fornication. He clearly addressed homosexuality and how evil it is. These Scriptures follow:
Mark 7:20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. (21) For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, (22) Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: (23) All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
Matthew 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. (19) For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: (20) These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
The New Testament has more to say about fornication than just the Lord Jesus' statements that it comes from the evil of man's heart. In Scripture after Scripture, the Bible warns about the sin of fornication. The Bible in several places lists fornication with many other sins. These sins would include: adultery, idolatry, drunkenness, witchcraft, hatred, heresies and the list goes on and on. The sin of fornication/homosexuality is always listed with these other sins. In fact, fornication is usually one of the first sins listed. These Scriptures follow:
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness … and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Ephesians 5:3-7 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints … For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
Colossians 3:4-6 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
All the above Scriptures give a severe warning to those who practice fornication/homosexuality and the other listed sins. Each section of Scripture states the wrath of God will come upon those who practice fornication and they will not inherit the kingdom of God . The Bible leaves no doubt that homosexuality is unacceptable to God. These verses first condemn homosexuality and then gives a stern warning to those that commit this act.

Then, He opens his arms and welcomes us into His kingdom and we become children of God, with our sins washed clean in His precious blood, never to be remembered again. Hallelujah! This opportunity is as available to homosexuals as it is to heterosexuals.

Bush a Better President Than Obama
What a hoot! Bush is more popular than Obama, and Bush was a mediocre president. That doesn't say much for the golden boy, now does it? Obama really blew it when he went along with the media glorifying him like some kind of god prior to the election. "When I wrote yesterday that the 'blame Bush' strategy had reached its expiration date, I had no idea how prescient that was. Pollster Douglas Schoen, who partners with longtime Democratic strategist Mark Penn at Penn Schoen & Berland, has taken his final look at the midterm electorate and finds it extraordinarily hostile to Barack Obama. The President only gets 38% for a re-election bid, but the news is worse than that — much worse, according to US News & World Report:
'According to pollster Doug Schoen, whose new poll shows vast support for the Tea Party movement among voters, the president is still liked by about half the nation. In fact, more like him personally than like his policies. Some 48 percent think he’s a nice guy, while just 42 percent approve of his job performance.

Schoen’s presentation focuses mainly on Tea Party influence on the election, and postulates the effects of a third-party candidate from the Right in the 2012 presidential election. However, there is more immediate data on this election as well. A majority of 53% wants Republicans to control Congress as an outcome of the midterms, while only 36% want Democrats controlling Congress. That more or less corroborates the gap found in Gallup polling on the midterm leanings from yesterday. Overall, the Schoen poll shows a nine-point lead for Republicans on the generic Congressional ballot, 48/39.
Not only that, but the messaging of Democrats is falling flat. Despite the hysteria about money supporting Republican candidates, only 29% of those likely voters polled by Schoen believe that will be the reason for a GOP takeover in one or both houses of Congress. Fifty-three percent say it will be the result of 'the perceived failed policies of Obama and the Democrats.' That also dovetails with Greg Sargent’s analysis of the failure of another Democratic message, that Republicans have been too obstructionist in the last two years:
'In a post yesterday about Mitch McConnell’s stated desire to ensure that Obama is a “one term president,” I noted that there’s no evidence to speak of that the Dem strategy of pillorying GOP partisanship and obstructionism has paid any dividends.
The internals of today’s New York Times poll seem to confirm this. They suggest that the public just isn’t prepared to believe that Republicans are any more partisan or obstructionist than Dems are. …
This, even though Dems have been relentlessly hammering Republicans as obstructionist, nakedly political and fully committed to nothing more than destroying the Obama presidency for over a year now. This suggests that voters quite properly view both political parties as political — in other words, people expect them to try to do what it takes to win. Efforts to claim the moral high ground on who’s truly bipartisan and who isn’t come across as so much Beltway white noise.'
It turns out that voters are much more interested in policy and track records than partisan bickering. One particular point on policy seems worth noting from Schoen’s analysis, on the Bush tax cuts. More than three-quarters of voters want the tax rates extended for the middle- and working-class earners, hardly a surprise, although 17% oppose this. But a majority wants them all extended, 50/40, preferring to keep money in the private sector.
And perhaps that’s why voters are beginning to prefer the oft-maligned George W. Bush over Barack Obama. It’s worth noting that Bush managed to pass his economic policies with much smaller Congressional majorities than Obama has enjoyed … until now."

'A young Christian man was suddenly set on fire by a Muslim man in Egypt after a rumor circulated that the Christian man had a relationship with the Muslim man's sister.
Yasser Ahmed Qasim approached 25-year-old Sabri Shihata and poured gasoline on the Coptic Christian and then set him on fire, reported the Voice of the Copts on Friday. The young Copt tried to put out the fire by throwing himself into a nearby canal, but the burns were too severe and he later died.
His 60-year-old father, Sabri Shihata, later arrived at a village rally where a group of Muslims stabbed him to death. One stab reportedly entered his back and came out of his abdomen below the rib cage, according to Voice of the Copts. The elder Shihata was taken to the hospital but nevertheless died from the attacks.
The Muslim group also attacked the Coptic man’s younger brother, 22-year-old Rami Sabri Shihata, causing a deep injury to his head...'"

"Alex Sink’s fortunes appear to be falling in Florida after getting caught cheating in a debate against Republican Rick Scott. She may have made matters worse by attempting to spin it later. Rather than just admit that she checked a message from a staffer when the debate rules clearly prohibited it, Sink claimed that she thought the message was from her daughter traveling abroad and fired the staffer. That prompted CNN’s John King to go CSI and look at the forensics of the debate tape.
Here’s Sink, trying to spin this on Hardball:
'Well, uh, what happened was, Chris, last night that the makeup artist held up her phone and said I just got this message, I don’t know who it’s from. I looked at it because, you know, I’m a mom, my instinct is my daughter’s in Europe. I don’t know who this message is from. I glanced at it. I didn’t understand even what it was, and I just ignored it.'
'Today she said she wasn’t sure what it was when the makeup artist handed her the phone. She thought it might have been a message from a daughter who she said was in college in [England]. But we listened very closely to the audio, and the makeup artist, when she approached Alex Sink, said I have a message from the staff. And at that point they looked, it was on a cell phone, it was two sentences. It was essentially advice after the last segment of the debate telling her if that question comes up again, remember this, and be more aggressive when Rick Scott questions you. Voter Joyce Ferrara said when they went to vote for Republican Sharron Angle, her Democratic opponent, Sen. Harry Reid’s name was already checked.
Ferrara said she wasn’t alone in her voting experience. She said her husband and several others voting at the same time all had the same thing happen.
“Something’s not right,” Ferrara said. “One person that’s a fluke. Two, that’s strange. But several within a five minute period of time — that’s wrong.”
Clark County Registrar of Voters Larry Lomax said there is no voter fraud, although the issues do come up because the touch-screens are sensitive. For that reason, a person may not want to have their fingers linger too long on the screen after they make a selection at any time.
Now there’s absolutely no independently verified evidence of chicanery with the voting machines (yet), but it is worth noting that the voting machine technicians in Clark County are members of the Service Employees International Union. The SEIU spent $63 million in elections in 2008 and is planning on spending $44 million more this election cycle — nearly all of that on Democrats. White House political director Patrick Gaspard is formerly the SEIU’s top lobbyist, and former SEIU president Andy Stern was the most frequent vistor to the White House last year.'

(IBD) — 'The president’s home state gets a pass from the Justice Department on ensuring its soldiers overseas can vote. An administration obsessed with gays in the military doesn’t care about voting rights for GIs.
You can call it a tragedy of errors, a perfect storm of incompetent and uncaring bureaucrats, or you can call it a deliberate attempt to steal what looks to be a close race for both governor and U.S. senator in President Obama’s home state by disenfranchising its servicemen overseas, votes likely to tilt Republican.
Consider that the Illinois primary was in February and that the deadline to print and mail ballots to soldiers fighting for democracy in places like Iraq and Afghanistan was Sept. 18 — long enough, one would think, for even the slowest bureaucracy to do the job mandated under the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment (MOVE) act.
A seven-month lead time apparently wasn’t enough for the incompetent administration of Gov. Pat Quinn, successor to the walking reality TV show, Rod Blagojevich, to ensure that all counties get their ducks in a row. Quinn is coincidentally locked in a tough battle with Illinois state Sen. Bill Brady where military votes could be decisive.
The Justice Department, which has been woefully lax in enforcing MOVE and ensuring compliance among a number of states that have missed their deadlines, reached an agreement in court last Friday with 35 Illinois counties that didn’t get their ballots out on time. Six counties got an extension by two or three days to receive and count overseas ballots by Nov. 16. The other 29 counties essentially got a pass.
Justice spokeswoman Xochitl Hinojosa said these counties already have 14 extra days after the election to count soldiers’ ballots. But if any votes aren’t counted in a timely manner, she said, “we can file a lawsuit.” This is not how soldiers who may get killed not knowing if their votes counted should be treated.
The excuse given by at least one county, St. Clair, involved a court case in which the Constitution Party was fighting to get on the ballot. St. Clair County Clerk Bob Delaney didn’t mail out absentee ballots to military service members on time because if the Constitution Party had won its case, “I would have had to redo the whole thing again” — at a cost of $2 per ballot, Delaney said.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Board of Elections hand-delivers ballots to inmates in Cook County Jail. The board doesn’t even wait for the inmates to apply — it brings the applications with the ballots! More than 2,600 inmates have cast ballots — strikingly similar to the 2,600 soldiers who will likely not receive a ballot for Tuesday’s election.'"

Lt. Col. Allen West and President Obama share the same skin color, but that is where the similarities end. West is a man of honor and integrity, full of courage and love for country, whereas our commander-in-chief is a Chicago thug politician who hates the military and the nation he leads. They are exact polar opposites.
It looks like America chose the wrong black man to lead the country, and our nation is going to hell in a handbasket because of our poor choice.

The incident he's talking about bears revisiting.It happened in Taji, Iraq, on August 20, 2003, where LTC West was the commander of the 2nd Battalion, 20th Field Artillery Regiment. Army interrogators had learned that an Iraqi policeman connected to the Mahdi Army had information about a planned ambush of West and his unit. When the interrogators were unable to get any more information on the attack, they asked LTC West to make an attempt at getting it.
When the jihadi still refused to come clean, LTC West fired off a round from his .45 past the detainee's head into a barrel..after which the jihadi sang like a bird, giving full details of how the attack was going to be carried out by fighters imported from Fallujah and stationed on strategic rooftops targeting West and his men. There were several arrests made and not only didn't the attack occur, but West's actions marked a major quieting down of the entire sector.
Instead of receiving a medal for saving the lives of his 600-man command, West and several of his men were hauled before court martial proceedings to mollify the Iraqi government, rather like the Camp Pendleton 8. Eventually, a deal was cut where this 20 year decorated veteran resigned with full benefits, paid a $5,000 fine and saw all charges against his men dropped.
And as West says here, he'd do exactly the same thing again if men under his command were endangered.
Like I said, it's all you or the voters of Florida 22 need to know about him. Exactly the sort of American hero we need in Congress.

Is Islam Tolerant?
America had better wake up because the political correctness involving Islam is insanity on steroids. No, of course, all Muslims are not a threat to us, but a significant number are, and the ones who support jihad are the devout ones; it's the secular Muslims who are most likely to be peace-loving.
But, how do we tell which Muslim is in which camp? That is the six million dollar question.

"Though most Muslims are tolerant and peace-loving, Islam itself is not a religion of tolerance, a former Muslim asserted.
Well-known activist and author Ayaan Hirsi Ali made the argument Monday at the National Press Club as security guards stood in the back of the ballroom. An outspoken critic of Islam, Hirsi Ali has been living under a fatwa, a religious ruling or in this case an order to kill, for years.
The Somali native addressed the question 'Is Islam a Religion of Tolerance?' to highlight the political dimension of the widely practiced faith.
'I'm frustrated with the continuous belief and, I think, self-delusion that Islam is only a religion,' she said. 'Islam is more than a religion. It does have a spiritual dimension ... but there is another dimension to Islam – a political dimension.'
In general terms, religious tolerance is understood to be the willingness to recognize and respect the beliefs and practices of others, she noted. But there are different levels of tolerance, she added.
'For instance, if you oppose smoking you may think of yourself as tolerant of smokers but it's different when you allow a smoker in your house ... to smoke,' the now atheist pointed out.
The Prophet Muhammad defined the state of peace and tolerance as a moment when the entire world submits to Allah and embraces Islam, said Hirsi Ali, who fled from her Muslim family and an arranged marriage in her early twenties and sought asylum in the Netherlands.
'That word "peace," "tolerant" is not defined in Islam as you define it in the West,' she clarified.' It doesn't mean ceasefire or compromise. That's temporary.
In Islam, the way to achieve peace is through settlement, jihad, and the institution of sharia (Islamic law), she explained.
And before the state of universal Islamization, 'it is the duty of every Muslim male to wage war' – not just by carrying weapons but by preaching and persuading, she added.
'The proposition that Islam is tolerant is not only fallacious but it's also dangerous,' Hirsi Ali underscored.
Citing four main sources of Islamic jurisprudence, including the Quran and the Hadith, the former Muslim said she found explicit commands to conquer and guidelines of how to go about that. The Somali native addressed the question 'Is Islam a Religion of Tolerance?' to highlight the political dimension of the widely practiced faith.
'I'm frustrated with the continuous belief and, I think, self-delusion that Islam is only a religion,' she said. 'Islam is more than a religion. It does have a spiritual dimension ... but there is another dimension to Islam – a political dimension.'
In general terms, religious tolerance is understood to be the willingness to recognize and respect the beliefs and practices of others, she noted. But there are different levels of tolerance, she added.
'For instance, if you oppose smoking you may think of yourself as tolerant of smokers but it's different when you allow a smoker in your house ... to smoke,' the now atheist pointed out.
The Prophet Muhammad defined the state of peace and tolerance as a moment when the entire world submits to Allah and embraces Islam, said Hirsi Ali, who fled from her Muslim family and an arranged marriage in her early twenties and sought asylum in the Netherlands.
'That word "peace," "tolerant" is not defined in Islam as you define it in the West,' she clarified.' It doesn't mean ceasefire or compromise. That's temporary.
