I feel so much safer knowing that Janet Incompetano is in charge of Homeland Security.
Isn't the Obama Administration supposed to be the best and brightest? Our commander-in-chief isn't sure how many states are in our Union:
The woman whose job it is to keep us safe has promised that she is giving her all to secure Americans 24/7/364 days a year. Oh Janet, what about that other day?
I guess that explains why the Undie bomber was able to board an American aircraft headed to Detroit last Christmas with explosives in his underwear, even after his father had warned the U.S. embassy in Nigeria of his son's extremist views. Janet apparently was on vacation from her responsibilites that day.
I wonder which day she will be taking off in 2011.

'On ABC’s World News tonight, Diane Sawyer sat down with Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to talk about the possibility of a terror attack over the holidays.
And Napolitano, doing her best to keep us all feeling cozy and warm, said it’s almost a year-round operation:
“What I say to the American people is that… thousands of people are working 24/7, 364 days a year to keep the American people safe.”'
We’re in the best of hands.
Does this mean we won’t get groped by TSA that day?"

You missed the worst part of the entire interview. Director Clapper DID NOT KNOW THAT THERE HAD BEEN A MAJOR ARREST OF 12 TERRORISTS IN LONDON THAT MORNING.
IT IS STUNNING THAT HE ADMITS HE DID NOT KNOW.
"Sawyer sat down with the trio of officials on the same day that British authorities arrested 12 men in England.
Brennan and Napolitano knew of the arrests and said that the plot would not have threatened the United States, but Director Clapper, who briefs the president daily on the nation's security, appeared to be unfamiliar with the events in London.
"First of all, London," Sawyer said. "How serious is it?
Any implication that it was coming here? ... Director Clapper?"
"London?" Clapper said, before Brennan entered the conversation explaining the arrests.
Later in the interview, Sawyer returned to the subject.
"I was a little surprised you didn't know about London," Sawyer told Clapper.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't," he replied."

They are the most incompetent people and should be replaced immediately......They did not even discuss the arrests amongst themselves about the situation at all? Unbelievable, just unbelievable............No, I should say it is believable that these people are so clueless......
It's shocking that the safety of the American people are in the hands of people that don't find it necessary to keep us safe everyday 24/7 or was it just the ignorance of buffoon not know how many days are in a year?
Why doesn't she telegraph to the terrorist that they get a free shot one day out of the year?
With that haircut you could almost mistake her for a man, but that alone isn’t going to keep Americans safe.
