Diogenes has posed a question about God punishing nations for supporting sodomy, and he listed a long list of countries, including Israel.
Yes, Diogenes, Israel and the Jewish people are God's chosen people. Nevertheless, that does not mean he ignores their sin anymore than he ignores the sins of America. God is a loving God. His act of sending His Son to this world for the purpose of dying for sinful man is proof of how much He loves us. He is more than merciful to those He calls His own.
However, He is also a holy God and cannot tolerate sin. The Bible states over and over again that homosexuality is a wicked act in His sight. Based on that fact, God has no choice but to judge nations for condoning sinful behavior. Through our suffering, He is trying to get our attention so that we turn to Him so He can bless us, but most nations are too thick-headed to do so.
Israel and all the other nations you listed are no exception. Most of the countries on the list are in Europe, a continent which has completed rejected the God of the Bible. He has given them over to the brutality of Islam. Over time they will begin to reap the evils of their choice to reject God. In fact, they are beginning to see its costs already.
As to Israel, the Jewish nation is experiencing a terrible drought and just suffered a tragic fire. And the Israelis certainly are dealing with enemies who surround them at every side, just waiting for their destruction.
There is suffering worldwide for nations which reject God. For years and years, America had been a blessed nation because of our godly heritage and commitment to Christ. Sadly, that is no longer the case.

Was America sinful in the 1930s (thus "explaining" the Great Depression) then became holy during the 1940s and 1950s? And sinful again in the 1960s and 1970s but, with the rise to power of Saint Ronnie, we were cool again with God in the 1980s? And then eight more lousy years with Clinton, followed by eight WONDERFUL years with Georgie Porgie, the Religious Rightwingnut?

Why are homosexuals singled out for this treatment? Aren't there a lot of other sins, more egregious sins, than homosexuality? What about the U.S. invading a foreign country for noapparent reason? And, even though Israel allowed gays to serve openly in their military since 1993, it soomehow took your god almost two decades to catch up with them and lay a drought on their asses?

Isn’t that a little hypocritical and unreasonable of the left to expect conservatives to push for a repeal of DADT when most of the elite graduate schools like Harvard have a ban on ROTC?

With DADT theirs a good chance of losing a majority of our fighting military for a bunch of sissies that in most cases would give up military secrets if another soldier didn't return their sexual advancements and with ROTC ban on most elite graduate schools recruitment would dwindle.
Doesn’t this leave America in a vulnerable position without a large and strong military for America’s defense and security?
