By the way, while I cited the University of Maryland study, Pew has done a series of similar polls over the years. And there is a consistent pattern: Faux's audience has the smallest percentage of college graduates, and they're the worst informed on major issues.
You'd think that if Faux Noise was the ONLY outlet reporting certain "stories", time after time after time, that there might be an explanation OTHER than the notion that only Faux tells the truth!
If everybody else says "X" and one guy says "Y", the Y Guy certainly deserves closer scrutiny. But Faux viewers uncritically sit back and simple say "Boy, those boys at Faux sure knows their shit, don't they? I KNEW that that hairy Mexican wolfboy was working for Obama!"

I don't own stock in any of the cable networks, so it really makes no difference to me in my life who gets ratings and who doesn't. When I watch TV, it's either to learn something or to be entertained. Faux delivers on neither count, I'm afraid, but if you enjoy it, God bless you.
