The Islamic world demands that the West show respect for them and their violent religion, though they do not return the favor. Respect does not typically occur unless it is earned.

Most people in this sluggish economy haven't been able to afford a single vacation in the past 2 years and this president feels he can take a vacation at their expense whenever he feels the need.

You (and I) have NO IDEA how much Georgie Porgie's damn-near-weekly excursions to Crawford cost.
The prices quoted in that "article" are probably inflated "retail" costs if an average Joe tried to rent the houses. I'd bet POTUS gets a sizeable discount -- maybe even gratis, since they could market the place as "the presidential retreat" the rest of the year and get a bundle off increased rentals all year long.
I'm a lot more concerned about corporate welfare to multinational oil corporations and tobacco companies than I am about a silly vacation. I'd suggest that your anger is misplaced, but I know that's not true: you're angry at anything and everything that Obama does.
