So who made the list so far?
The Service Employees Benefit Fund (#10 on list) with 1,297 enrollees gained a health care waiver from the Obama Administration.

Wasn't this supposed to be the cure for ails America? No, it is a calulated effort to punish a portion of the population, in effect, giving friends of commie dems a competitive advantage. A power grab of epic proportions.

13 unions got waivers, out of 111 waivers granted. About 10%.
Meaning about 90% of the waivers went to non-union entities.
That seems about right.
How is that giving a "competitive advantage" to unions... when the unions get 10% of the waivers, and non-unions get 90%?

As for Faux Noise's contention that a waiver is an admission of guilt, think again. (Or, more accurately, think for the FIRST time.) You have no idea why the waivers were granted, so to assume it's an admission of guilt of ANYTHING is ludicrous. That's an assumption made by people who want to assume all things Obama HAVE to be wrong.
Last time i checked, unions were about 5 to 6% of the total workforce in America.
So by normal math, even if they get 10% of the waivers, their still getting more than their share. And that crap is far from over anyway. The kenyan will give as many of his friends a pass as possible.

Why does anyone need a pass anyway? This is supposed to be the greatest bill of all time? You still have proved nothing other than you are probably on your way to a union pass as well. My guess is that, if it was truly as nefarious as the rightwingnut blogger tries to portray it, it would have been spelled out in more detail.
And, by the way, your percentage argument is meaningless... apples and oranges. Just because 10% of the organizations that received waivers were unions doesn't mean that 10% of the affected workers were unionized. The size of the commercial operations (other than unions) may dwarf the number of union employees covered by the unions. There's no way of telling, given the limited information that the rightwingnut blogger included. But, again, the odds are that, if it spelled bad news for Obama, it woul have been spelled out in much more detail than it was.

As for the healthcare reform bill, the issue raised by MoreLies' post wasn't whether or not "people wanted it" but that somehow Obama offered special treatment not offered to anyone else. And your stupidass comment, JustaDumbass, that Obama gave his friendsa competitive advantage.
That's a load of crap, and that's what I commented on.
You contend that "people don't want it". Some people may not. Most people do.
And the way you can tell? When you feed people "loaded" prejudicial terms like "Obamacare", a slim majority say they're against it.
But if you break out the pieces and actually DESCRIBE the reforms, one by one, about 2/3 to 3/4 of the voting population FAVORS the specifics of healthcare reform.

How could ANYONE give specifics on why waivers were granted if no one has stated what the waivers were for? Are you that dense, JustaDumbass? The whole point I was trying to make is that I haven't come across ANY source that goes into any details as to what kind of waivers were granted, and for what purpose. It's all nebulous bullshit in the rightwingnut blogosphere, which leads me to question just how horible this issue is. If they HAD specifics, the rightwingnut blogosphere would be full of attack after attack after attack, with specifics.
The only thing I saw about any particular company was McDonalds, and they were only granted a waiver for some part-time employees.
As for companies getting waivers that puts them in a competitive advantage, says who? Who says that the companies that don't get waivers are obligated to pay the government ANYTHING extra? that's a rightwingnut myth: "Obamacare will cause everybody to pay more money to the government".
But please keep us advised as to how the pheasents are doing with your plow. (I hear they're better eating than they are as farm workers, though.)
