The US unemployment rate has not fallen below 9.0% for over a year now. This is unprecedented.
But, at least there’s one segment that is not hurting.
The number of federal workers making over $150,000 has doubled under Barack Obama.
USA Today reported:
'The number of federal workers earning $150,000 or more a year has soared tenfold in the past five years and doubled since President Obama took office, a USA TODAY analysis finds.
The fast-growing pay of federal employees has captured the attention of fiscally conservative Republicans who won control of the U.S. House of Representatives in last week’s elections. Already, some lawmakers are planning to use the lame-duck session that starts Monday to challenge the president’s plan to give a 1.4% across-the-board pay raise to 2.1 million federal workers.'"
They don't deserve a raise. We should fire at least half of them and reduce the size of government.

Dio, to compare the time Pres Reagan had 9% unemployment to current employment rates that have been argued to be actually 14%-17% is just as rediculous as your agenda.

I simply noted that MoreLies' original cut & paste made the nonsensical claim that we have never before had unemployment over before over a year. (That's what "unprecedented" means, if you didn't know.) I knew that was incorrect, so I found the stats to prove it was incorrect.
I wasn't suggesting a full-blown, point-by-point comparison of Saint Ronnie and Obama. I just wanted to who'd squeal first about anything negative that's remembered about their patron Saint Ronnie.
