Fort Hood Remembered

Yesterday, marked the one-year massacre at Fort Hood. The only good thing that has come from this act of jihad is that "Soldier of Allah" Nidal Hasan is paralyzed from the chest down. Enjoy your misery, Major. I can't think of anyone who deserves it more than you.

Incontinence must be lots of fun, not to mention sitting in a wheel chair all day. Wait until you find out that your act of sacrifice to your violent god was all in vain because there will be no paradise and no virgins for you when you finally kick the bucket or receive the death sentence. You can only wish you had been killed.

Political correctness, via the Obama regime, says that I'm not permitted to call these murders, in the name of Allah, an act of Islamic jihad, even though any American with a lick of sense recognizes the motive behind the murders.

Fort Hood Jihad: One Year Later, Obama's Cover Up

"Fort Hood Jihad. It's a year since Major Hasan came out as a grand jihadi and slaughtered US soldiers in the largest attack on a military base on American soil in US history.

One year, and the Obama administration is still covering up the motivation behind the attack. Perhaps with the Republican force for good in Washington, we will now be able to sue the White House for information sought in a congressional investigation of last year’s rampage at the Texas military base in which 13 soldiers were killed.

So crippled has our military (and other branches of government) become by this self-imposed sharia (do not insult Islam!), that despite the staggering loss of US soldiers, the chief concern of Army chief Casey in the bloody aftermath of the Fort Hood jihad was that 'speculation could potentially heighten backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers and what happened at Fort Hood was a tragedy, but I believe it would be an even greater tragedy if our diversity becomes a casualty here.'

That was the concern.

On the day of Major Hasan's mass slaughter of US troops at Fort Hood in the bloodiest act of war on a military base in US history, Major Muslim Hasan distributed Qurans and his card, calling infidels to convert to Islam before his jihad (posted at Atlas November 6, 2009 -- Major Hasan's Dawah before Jihad).

Hasan screamed 'Allahu Akbar'!!! as he mowed down US soldiers at Fort Hood.

Obama has continued to withhold evidence in the Fort Hood jihadist attack and continues to shield the Muslim terrorist. Senators have been forced to sue the White House for information.



Congressman John Carter back in April:


'Yet the Obama Administration continues to deny the Fort Hood attack was terrorism, failed to grant the casualties the same status as that given casualties from the 2001 Pentagon attack, conspicuously omitted even mention of the words “radical Islamic terrorism” in the official DOD report on the shootings, and will not acknowledge the role of political-correctness in stifling whistleblower warnings of the impending attack.

Now the Administration is refusing to fully comply with a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee subpoena that the Pentagon share documents and witnesses concerning the incident.

Senate Homeland Security Chairman Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Ranking Minority Member Susan Collins (R-MA) issued the subpoena after the Administration refused to provide those documents on the request of the committee.

The Administration bases their denial on the argument that releasing the information might endanger their prosecution of Major Nidal Hasan.

As a state judge who presided over murder trials for 20 years before coming to Congress, that’s ludicrous. Any prosecutor who can’t win a conviction against Hasan with literally dozens of eyewitnesses doesn’t need to be a prosecutor.

House and Senate members are not convinced that the Pentagon is taking the necessary steps to provide maximum deterrance to similar attacks in the future, or to respond to the aftermath of this attack. This is why subpoenas have been issued, and why I have introduced legislation to remedy these shortcomings.

As to the specific bills I introduced this year dealing with the Fort Hood attack, no floor or committee action has yet been taken, but the text of the bills are under consideration for inclusion in this year’s Defense Authorization Act.'


Today Congressman Carter issued this:


(FORT HOOD, TEXAS) – 'America should pause to remember those killed and wounded one year ago in the terror attack on Fort Hood, and recognize that sacrifice with a renewed commitment to assist and honor the casualties and their families, and to prevent similar future attacks, according to Congressman John Carter, who represents the Fort Hood area in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Carter, who is also Co-Chairman of the House Army Caucus and Secretary of the House Republican Conference, says the ongoing trial of Major Nidal Hasan for the Fort Hood shootings one year ago is just one of many issues still not resolved. The victims have still not received the treatment and status they deserve, the military has not acknowledged the nature and causes of the attack, and there is numerous security improvements still needed to prevent future attacks.

Carter says radical Islamic terrorism has still not been acknowledged as the cause of the Fort Hood shootings which left 14 Americans dead, and the Department of Defense must not allow political correctness to continue to skew its policies on force protection.

“It has been a year since the terror attack on Fort Hood, and DOD still refuses to even use the words ‘radical Islam’ in their report on the attack or recommendations on how to prevent future attacks,” says Carter. “That does not instill confidence in Congress that DOD is taking the necessary steps to protect our troops.”

Carter, a former Texas judge, has introduced legislation authorizing the same status for Fort Hood victims as that awarded casualties of the 9-11 attack on the Pentagon, and granting whistleblower protections to military and civilian personnel who report potential threats from radical Islamic sympathizers.

“The families of the 13 adults and one unborn child who died, along with the wounded, deserve the same treatment as we provided the Pentagon casualties,” says Carter. “Congress must not rest until these families receive what they deserve.”

Carter also introduced legislation providing “active shooter” training for all military and civilian law enforcement protecting military installations. Fort Hood officers credit the training with their success in stopping the Fort Hood shooter in an open gunfight.

Carter succeeded in passing a resolution in the House and Senate recognizing the good response of Fort Hood law enforcement and base command in responding to the attack. The rest of the Carter bills await passage as part of the pending National Defense Authorization Act.'"
