If you are outraged by the planned Ground Zero mosque within the shadows of Ground Zero, then your blood may boil when you learn that the Flight 93 Memorial to be built at Shanksville, Pennsylvania, is designed like a giant Islamic crescent. Why are we not hearing more about this? I believe it deserves equal outrage.

You're not hearing about it because it's not true. The designs were changed to accommodate the few family members who objected. The organization of 9-11 families have approved the new plans.
There's no crescent; it's a circle.
It's not pointed towards Mecca. it's pointed towards the actual crash site.
I do agree on one point: this ought to receive the same amount of outrage.
None.
Diogenes is disingenuous, at best.
At worst, intentionally lying, liberally.
Watch the videos. The facts are there for everybody to see.
Diogenes provides nothing to refute the facts because he has none. Opinion is not fact, even when it makes no sense (like a circle that points somewhere).
Naw, the design was changed minimally; it's still a crescent and pointing to Mecca. Research it yourself; don't take my word for it.
I can't believe anyone would stand up for muslim terrorists' monuments over the rights of Americans to mourn their dead properly.
P.S. Anon #1 -- Brilliant observation. A circle that points to somewhere!
The video is old trash re-hashed. YOU do the research... the major 9-11 family groups have absolutely NO ISSUE with the design of the memorial.
As for a circle pointing nowhere, you're right, geometry-wise. But if you read ANYTHING about the design, you'd know that there are two breaks in the circle, one for the path of the plane and one where the plane finally went down. There's also all sorts of changes in the ground elevations.
How does a crescent "point" to anything? Which end of a crescent is "pointing"? Or is it the center?
Nobody's standing up for "Muslim terrorist monuments"... there are no such things, at least notin Shanksville PA. The families APPROVE of the memorial... which is good enough for me. And it's good enough for anybody who's not trying to gin up a controversy.
This is stupid Islamophobic nonsense... a totally manufactured shit-storm thrown together by BSers.
