Liberalism and Islam are becoming the true marriage partners. Not only are your children being indoctrinated in leftist propaganda in our public schools, but they are being introduced to and indoctrinated in the Muslim faith.
Warning: You need to pay CLOSE attention to what they are teaching your children.

Indiana: Elementary Schoolchildren Told to Write Story as if They Were Making Hajj to Mecca… Shockingly, Parents Have a Problem With This…
"I’m sure the ACLU will be expressing their outrage any moment now…
MARTINSVILLE, Ind. — 'Some parents of a Morgan County elementary school said they are outraged by an assignment that asks students to write about their experience on a Hajj.
A Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca and is one of the pillars of the Islamic faith.
Seventh-graders at Martinsville East Middle School were asked to write at least 125 words “as though you are on the journey to Mecca and are writing in your journal about what you see and experience,” 6News’ Joanna Massee reported.
“I feel strongly that if the same assignment was given from a Christian standpoint, whether it was your experience at the Passover or if you were there when Christ was crucified or anything like that, the ACLU or any other organization like that would be up in arms,” said Ron Fletcher, a parent of one of the students.
Fletcher said he has no problem with people of the Islamic faith, but he thinks the assignment was inappropriate for a public school.
“My daughter’s perception and other parents’ perception by speaking with them by Facebook and on the phone is that we want our children to write about experiencing one of the pillars of Islam — I think that takes it a little too far,” Fletcher said.' Rest here>>>"

Writing essays like this is a common educational exercise. It tests the students' understanding of a topic; they find it very difficult to put themselves in somebody else's shoes if they don't understand a little bit about that person.
Apparently, these students were studying about Islam. I know, I know: how DARE teachers teach kids about something as horrible as Islam! We're far better off if we know nothing of other cultures! Why would ANYBODY seek to understand another religion, especially one whose radicals want to kill us?
Ignorance is bliss. But it's also ignorance.
Based on that thought, Diogenes, how about you public school teachers instruct your pupils on a Christian water baptism? It ain't gonna happen.
It's the push for all things Muslim that we object to. I sincerely doubt students are being taught the details of Buddhism, Hinduism, or Judaism. As usual, you are in denial as to what is taking place.
A Christian water baptism? Would that be part of a world history curriculum? If so, you could go for it, sure! I'm sure that the hajj exercise was more about the cultural experience, not a religious conversion. Remember, a hajj is what converted Malcolm X from being a Black Muslim into a traditional Muslim... and, when he started speaking out against the Nation of Islam, he was murdered.
When I taught world history, many years ago, we did whole units on the world's great religions. Read "The Tao of Pooh", for instance, which is a great beginner's book on Taoism, told using the writings ofWinnie the Pooh. Tried a half-assed meditation session as a Buddhist might. Read "Siddhartha".
You'd be amazed at some of the stuff that's out there in the real world, if you just pulled your head out of your ass. It might even make you appreciate your Christianity a bit more, as it did with me.
