47% of Dems Want a Primary Challenger for Obama

What an absolute disaster the Obama presidency has been. Now, it looks like half of Democrats agree with me.

Read from Weasel Zippers:

Poll: 47% of Democratic Voters Say Obama Should Face Primary Challenge in 2012

"Ouch…

WASHINGTON (AP) — 'Democratic voters are closely divided over whether President Barack Obama should be challenged within the party for a second term in 2012, an Associated Press-Knowledge Networks Poll finds.

That glum assessment carries over into the nation at large, which is equally divided over whether Obama should be a one-term president.

A real Democratic challenge to Obama seems unlikely at this stage and his re-election bid is a long way off. But the findings underscore how disenchanted his party has grown heading into the congressional elections Tuesday.

The AP-KN poll has tracked a group of people and their views since the beginning of the 2008 presidential campaign. Among all 2008 voters, 51 percent say he deserves to be defeated in November 2012 while 47 percent support his re-election — essentially a tie.

Among Democrats, 47 percent say Obama should be challenged for the 2012 nomination and 51 percent say he should not be opposed. Those favoring a contest include most who backed Hillary Rodham Clinton’s unsuccessful faceoff against Obama for the 2008 nomination. The poll did not ask if Democrats would support particular challengers

John Boehner Hits President Obama for 'Enemies'-"We call (Americans) 'Patriots'"

Obama refers to American's that disagree with him and the democrats as ‘our enemies.’

Boehner says:
“Ladies and gentlemen, we have a president in the White House who referred to Americans who disagree with him as ‘our enemies.’ Think about that. He actually used that word. When Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush used the word ‘enemy,’ they reserved it for global terrorists and foreign dictators — enemies of the United States. Enemies of freedom. Enemies of our country.

“Today, sadly, we have president who uses the word ‘enemy’ for fellow Americans — fellow citizens. He uses it for people who disagree with his agenda of bigger government — people speaking out for a smaller, more accountable government that respects freedom and allows small businesses to create jobs. Mr. President, there's a word for people who have the audacity to speak up in defense of freedom, the Constitution, and the values of limited government that made our country great. We don't call them ‘enemies.’ We call them ‘patriots.’”

Why would an American President refer to Americans as the enemy?

Very Disturbing!

Diogenes, 47% of Democrats is a significant number to want a challenger for Obama. These are Democrats, not all Americans. As an Obama supporter, you have nothing to laugh about.

Eat Republican dust bitch.

For a "big man" on a supposed winning streak, you sound mighty bitter and angry, JustaDumbass.

Clinging to your religion and your guns, JustaDumbass, or just yanking your crank?

2012 is two years away, rightwingnut imbeciles. You think that's not taht far away? COmpare 2008 to 2010. Two years is an ETERNITY in politics.

All the Republicans did was give themselves the oppotunity to show America how obstructionist they are. They hold in majority in the House, but they likely will do nothing with it.

And the Teabaggers? Al they did was show that they could defeat more moderate Republicans in primaries and stop thosemoderate Republicans from winning seats for the GOP... which works for me and for America. Which Teabaggers won? Mario Rubio and Rand Paul. (Count NorthSouthEastWest if you want, but he's just an opportunist using Teabagger support.)

Angle lost.
O'Donnell lost.
Buck lost.
Tancredo lost.
Paladino lost.
McMahon lost.
Miller lost (or will).
