The Uncaring President

President Obama could care less about the American people. When it comes down to the nitty gritty, it's always about him. Even when it comes to our national security, the man is cold and indifferent to our safety.

So, Mr. President, how can you possibly say that America can absorb a terrorist attack? With a comment like that, as reported in Bob Woodward's new book "Obama's Wars", the public should be deeply concerned.

I had my problems with Bush, but at least national security was a priority for him, which it obviously is not for Obama. Oh, he cares some, but only because it would make him look bad.

From Weasel Zippers:

Bolton: “Obama is simply not qualified to be Commander-in-Chief”

"As the UN Ambassador who kept us out of the ICC during the Bush Administration, John Bolton IS the anti-thesis to the multilateral- loving, globalist Obama.

'“If the book is accurate … it is some of the most cold-blooded, cynical, grotesquely political manipulation of national security that I think we’ve ever seen.”

“The notion that a President would say that in that kind of callous and just utterly robotic way, I think is yet further indication that Obama is simply not qualified to be Commander-in-Chief,” Bolton added.

“Obama is divorced from the American people, I think he is unemphatic, I think he is ’show that’ and I think the American people have the wit to know what that means,” Bolton concluded.'"

does anybody believe that a community organizer that never managed anything in his life would know how to manage a war or two? Mahmoud Ahmadinejad bitch slapped him and America at the UN and he still had the nerve to offer Ahmadinejad an open door whenever he wants it?

Does he really believe that’s going to work?

Riiiiiiight!

What exactly did Georgie manage? Governor of Texas for 4+ years? Whoopdee freakin' dooo.

But it DOES hurt that a military expert like John Bolton has decided that Obama is "simply not qualified to be Commander-in-Chief". If there ever was a judge of military qualifications, John Bolton is IT.

Bolton supported the war in Vietnam. Well, sort of. He spokeout in favor of the war many times. But, when it came time to walk the walk, he walked away. He enlisted in the Maryland National Guard, so as to avoid active military service in Vietnam. And he even had the nerve to brag about it in the 25th reunion book of his fellow Yalies: "I confess I had no desire to die in a Southeast Asian rice paddy. I considered the war in Vietnam already lost."

Yeah, John Bolton is surely most qualified to talk about the qualifications of everybody else connected with the military.

But he overlooked one important fact. Barack Obama has the only qualification that's important for any Commander-in-Chief: he was elected by the citizens of this country to BE Commander-in-Chief.

And John Bolton has been elected to be.... well..... nothing.

For which he is apparently eminently qualified.

DiogenASS: Bush successfully managed the Texas economy and reduced taxes as governor, successfully liberated 2 countries as president and freed millions of Muslims from the clutches of terrorists for 7 years without ever bowing to one terrorist or dictator, protected the American people from a terrorist attack without ever fighting in a war while serving in the National Guard.

what has Øbama managed as president in the last few years? 3 million jobs lost, added 3 trillion to the deficit
http://blog.heritage.org/2009/03/24/bush-deficit-vs-obama-deficit-in-pictures/
2 terrorist attacks and 3 near misses, bowed to every terrorist, dictator and communist in the world, got bitch slapped at the UN.

Hell, Øbama didn't even try to enlist in National Guard or even ROTC, but rather voted against Obama voted against the war, voted against the surge in Iraq, voted against funding our military on several occasions because of his leftwing ideology.

Don’t even try labeling Bush as a coward, because that title belongs specifically to Øbama and the left.

Øbama is a big fat zero!

"Successfully liberated 2 countries as President"? Yeah? Which two? (And you can't count America as one.) If you're counting Afghanistan, think again.

"Freed millions of Muslims from the clutches of terrorists?" Again, where di you create this fiction? Iraq? There WERE no terrorists in Iraq to speak of, until we got there, and then WE attracted them like a magnet.

"protected the American people from a terrorist attack without ever fighting in a war while serving in the National Guard"? What in the hell does THAT mean? Bushie served in the National Guard to avoid active duty in Vietnam; that war had nothing to do with terrorism. And yeah, Georgie protected us from a terrorist attack right AFTER he slept through the biggest terrorist attack in modern history. But, other than that small hiccup, Bushie and Cheney were perfect! LMAO

Obamna got "bitch slapped at the UN"? Funny, I missed that. I know Obama gave a speech one morning last week, and Ahmadinejad gave one later in the day. If that constitutes being "bitch slapped" I far prefer that than Bushie having Colin Powell lie to and mislead the UN General Assembly.

As for Obama's non-military service, he graduated from college in 1983. What war would you have liked to see him participate in at that point?

Bush WAS a coward when he was old enough to fight, and he became a really heroic go-getter, starting wars left and right, as soon as he was too old to fight them himself.

I believe the term you were looking for is "chicken hawk", AnonyMouse. But don't fret, it doesn't just apply to Bushie. It applies to Rover, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and just about every other politician of their age.

Except Kerry, that is, and he got Swiftboated for his trouble!

DiogenASS: you missed the bitch slap?

That's because your head is so far up his ass, they have to pump sunlight to your dumbass.

The rest of your comment is nothing more then leftwingloon spin and jibberish

You can go back to sucking your thumb now!

You always have had major issues when you have to argue against facts, AnonyMouse. Which is why you don't even try anymore, and you just trot out your threadbare (and rather perverse) thumbsucking fetish when you have nothing else.
