"Correct me if I’m wrong here, but wouldn’t the ACLU, Barry Lynn, and Rachel Maddow all crap a ball of barbed wire and birth seven cows if a public school took students to a church to be taught erroneous world history then evangelized by Ignatius the Ultimate Youth Pastor and invited to get on their knees and pray to Jesus?
Uh, heck yeah they would.
Heads would immediately begin to roll in said school, and the left’s panties would get in an inextricable wad over the violation of the Establishment Clause they supposedly care so deeply about. This, if true, would no doubt also cause Keith Olbermann to stroke out on live TV—which would be a shame because if Keith croaked then who would we, the columnists, have to BBQ on a regular basis?
Apparently, however, in another example of irony (or hypocrisy), it ain’t a big thang for those on the Left when a public school takes your kids to a mosque to:
1. Hear Muslim propaganda about how great they are and how America sucks (as in Islam led the way for women’s rights long before the dilatory United States did. Huh? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? That doesn’t sound legit, does it?)
2. Be proselytized to believe their Islamic twist on salvation (and I do mean twist, and boy howdy don’t these field trips to mosques help with Islam’s stealth jihad, or what?)
And to round out this trippy field trip, the boys in the segregated crowd were invited to join the men in the mosque in praying to Allah (most assuredly for world peace, or for a machine gun, or something).
Sounds innocent enough, eh? But it wasn’t just any old mosque, oh heck no, but a radical mosque, and not a nice, happy, hip and fun mosque, like the one Imam Blah Blah Rauf swears he’s going to build for all the world’s children for interfaith fuzziness.
The above is what occurred in May, 2010 when Wellesley, Massachusetts public middle school students took a field trip to the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center—a controversial Saudi-funded mega-mosque run by the Muslim American Society of Boston.
This 'cultural center,' by the way, has had several of its leaders (past and present) linked to terrorism. One of their darlings, Abdul Rahman Al-Amoudi, is currently serving 23 years in the slammer for an al-Qaeda terror plot.
This is the same 'cultural center' that Federal prosecutors say is an overt arm for the Muslim Brotherhood and that has wife-beating tips for Muslim men on its website (they’ve probably been deleted by the time you’ve read this column).
Yep, this is the mosque hundreds of students were bused to in order to become more 'well-rounded and open to new ideas.'

She didn't expose ANYTHING, by the way, despite what Sean Hannity said. In reality, the guy they thought they were conning was actually trying to get as much specific information out of them as he could. Phone records prove that, as soon as they walked out of his office, he was on the phone to the police, tipping them off to what he thought was an illegal enterprise.
But it's nice to read just how (il)literate the old man is.

You’re going to a mosque and you didn’t know that there was going to be some sort of religious activity taking place? Didn’t the people who were in charge of the field trip already know that this prayer would take place as part of the itinerary? Hindsight is always 20/20 but perhaps someone could have found this out ahead of time and given people the choice to opt out. Or is this being narrow-minded and bigoted? I can only imagine that a lot of teachers as well as students were too uncomfortable once the prayer started to do anything but participate. What an awkward situation to have to be in.
There was a permission slip that needed a parental OK before the students could go on the field trip. And the form clearly stated that they were visiting a religious center, and that the kids should dress appropriately. They probably didn't realize that the midday prayers would be conducted at the moment one batch of kids went through the center.
It still doesn't explain how the 4 boys got caught up in the prayers, although there's the insinuation that they volunteered.
And guess what? Not a one of them was struck by lightning for sitting there during a prayer. Since Muslims believe that Allah is the same God as Yahweh of the Old Testament and God the Father in the New Testament, it's probably not the worst thing these kids will ever see in their life. (And if it is, they should thank their lucky stars.)
At worst, this was an unfortunate happenstance... not a sinister plot staged by the Evil Muslims.
If you think allah is the same god as the God of the Bible, you are out of your mind. For a theology student, you are awfully ignorant.
Try reading John 14:6: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." No mention of mohammed or allah.
The koran speaks of killing Jews and Christians. Yeah, that really sounds like the God of Israel.

I wasn't talking about what I believe, but what MUSLIMS believe, dimwit. Muslims believe that the three major religions are linked. It's supposed to be the same God, and all of the prophets are linked through Abraham:

I was well aware that you stated that Muslims believe that we share the same God. However, I vividly remember having this same discussion with you months ago, perhaps longer than that, and you argued that our God and the muslim god are one in the same.
As to their references to Abraham, the Islamists have stolen Abraham from the Bible and then distorted the truth. They also believe that it was Ismael that was nearly sacrificed instead of Isaac. That happens to be a trick of satan to steal a truth and then distort it.
