Lockerbie Bomber Honored

It's pary time in Libya, and the laugh is on America.

Gadafi’s Son to Throw Party For Lockerbie Bomber

"Talk about nerve.

'The son of Libyan dictator Colonel Gadaffi will celebrate the first anniversary of the Lockerbie bomber’s release by throwing a party for the convicted terrorist at his home.

Saif Gadaffi, whose friends include Tony Blair and Lord Mandelson, will attend the revelry for Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi in his two-storey house in Tripoli. He will foot the bill for food and drink, following a day’s fasting during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

Libyan authorities have insisted they want to avoid a repeat of the international revulsion sparked by Megrahi being treated to a hero’s homecoming. Instead, they will apparently ‘pray’ to ‘give thanks’ for the people who freed Al Megrahi: Gordon Brown and Scottish Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill. A spokesman for the Libyan leader said: ‘The celebrations this week will involve people giving thanks to God for Brother Al Megrahi’s release and marking the event with their own quiet celebrations.

People will pray for Al Megrahi and give thanks to those who helped free him, including former Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Scottish Justice Minister Kenny MacAskill.

‘This is what the Brother Leader wants. He does not want wish to cause offence in other parts of the world, especially in Britain and America.’

Supporters of Megrahi will also wear blue and white caps similar to the one he donned when he stepped off the plane to Libya for the first time.

FYI -

The Bomber’s oncologists are claiming that they were not consulted about his release.

The Doctor who oversaw the Bomber’s release was a 'rookie GP'

Sources say that a 'miracle cancer drug' is now keeping the bomber alive.
