Our president has weighed in on the building of a mosque near Ground Zero, and nobody is surprised by his response. Barack Hussein Obama sides with the Muslims on any issue under discussion. It matters not how offensive.
Yes, Muslims have a right, based on our laws, to build a mosque at that particular location, but that does not negate the fact that doing so would be highly offensive to millions of Americans and a slap in our face after the atrocious act committed by Muslims on 9/11 at Ground Zero. In fact, nearly 70% of Americans oppose plans for a Ground Zero mosque so this is not just us conservatives objecting.
As we endure month after month of an Obama nation, we are quickly waking up to the reality that Obama does not relate to the average American on most issues. He is a radical through and through. I pray that we can survive his presidency. May God have mercy on our nation.

True to His Radical Associations, Obama Sides with Building of Ground Zero Mosque – Video of Obama’s Remarks
"Here is video of President Obama speaking to a group of Muslims at the White House last night, where he defended Islam, and inserted himself into the issue of whether a Mosque should be built near Ground Zero – where nearly 3,000 Americans were killed at the hands of Muslim terrorists. Obama defended the right of the mosque to be built, completely ignoring the propriety of it being built so close to where the attack occurred, and also ignoring the questions of where the money for the mosque is coming from. The Imam behind the Ground Zero Mosque has made statements attacking the United States in the past, and his sources of funding for the project are unknown.
But Obama did here what you would expect from him. He sided with the radicals, as he has done time and time again over his career. His radical associations were all but ignored by the media during the 2008 campaign, and sadly by too many of the American people.
What Americans must come to grips with is that Barack Obama does not only associate with radicals – he is a radical. He has been, and will continue to be, on the wrong side of every major issue facing the nation. Only the American people can say – enough! It must happen this Fall, and in 2012."
AMEN!!!

Obama Blesses 911 Ground Zero Mega Mosque at Ramadan Celebration
"'We should also examine the foreign policies of the U.S. to make sure that we occupy the moral high ground in these conflicts. In particular, we have to examine some of the root causes of this terrorist activity.' -- then-State Senator Obama's post 911 attack remarks

Obama came out for the Islamic supremacist mosque at the hallowed ground of 911 attack. He has, in effect, sided with the Islamic jihadists and told the ummah (at an Iftar dinner on the third night of Ramadan, of course) that he believes in and supports a triumphal mosque on the cherished site of Islamic conquest.
If you had any doubt who Obama stood with on 911, there can be no doubt in our minds now.
I believe he planned it all along. He waited until Ramadan. Symbolic. He has now turned our Ground Zero protest on 911 into a mega-event. The very idea of a 15-story mega-mosque on hallowed ground in indecent, offensive and outrageous. If Imam Rauf and his wife Daisy really wanted to 'reach out' and 'heal,' they would give the $120 million to the first responders suffering from exposure to the toxic environment at Ground Zero after Muslim terrorists brought down the World Trade Center and slaughtered 3,000 Americans.
Is the president incapable of common decency?
Obama knows this is not about religious liberty. No one has suggested abridging the first amendment to stop the mosque. There are hundreds of mosques in New York, thousands in America. This is not a religious issue. This is a national security issue.
Once again, Obama puts himself directly at odds with the majority of the American people, as is his way and the hallmark of his presidency. This is all explained in detail in my book."
From the Wall Street Journal:
"Debra Burlingame, whose brother Charles Burlingame was the pilot of the plane the terrorists hijacked and flew into the Pentagon, said she was furious over the president's remarks.
'I'm so angry. I believe this president has abandoned the American people,' she said. 'This isn't a fight about religious freedom for Muslims. No one has argued they don't have the property rights. This is about a project led by someone who says he's trying to build bridges and bring the community together and he's chosen probably the worst place in America and the worst way to do it.'"

I'm sure you'll be revising your opinion today since Obama said he was NOT commenting on whether or not the mosque SHOULD be built. He only stated that they had the right to build a mosque there, under our longstanding tradition of freedom of religion.
Yeah, like you'd agree with anything this President has to say.
Ă˜bama wants Americans to have tolerance of tyrannical ideologies while they are pretending to be religions, tolerance of death at the hands of murdering muslims, tolerance of those who cut off ears and noses of young muslim girls, tolerance of those who whip and stone women to death in the name of religion.
As Americans, should we celebrate this rich diversity in the name of tolerance?
No, I will not be revising my opinion. Obama mentioned nothing of the kind when he was speaking to Muslims on Friday. The only reason he is backtracking on this is because so many people were outraged by his comment, including Democrats, and it's an election year.
Obama's for the mosque. If not, he had the opportunity on Fri. night to tell Muslims that they had the legal right to build the mosque, but that it would be offensive to do so. But, he refused to do that, now didn't he?
Yeah he didn't say that.... mainly because it (a) isn't his call and (b) his handlers pulled him back.
Yeah, I'm pissed he didn't have the nerve to stick to his guns and backed down for a bunch of whiners.
There's no legal reason why the Islamic center can't be built. They own the land. If they want to build an Islamic center on it, that's their right. And it's none of our damn business what they do with their own property.
This is nothing but a manufactured "controversy" in an election year. Build it, don't build it; the world will continue to spin quite well on its axis.
DiogenASS: I wonder if building a pork slaughter house next door to the mosque would be OK with the president and his leftwingloon supporters as long as the individual owns the land?
Riiiiight!
If a slaughterhouse met zoning code standards, yes sir. Although why anybody would want to build a slaughterhouse in lower Manhattan is questionable.
DiogenASS: why would anybody want to build a mosque in lower Manhattan where the muslims have to drive a long distance fighting traffic just to reach, instead of in a muslim community within walking distance.
Well, I'm thinking a Muslim OUTREACH endeavor might not look to be located in the middle of a Muslim community. It kind of makes sense to be located in a NON-Muslim community.
And there's always a shortage of good athletic gyms and clubs in lower Manhattan.
If and when they call YOU for advice, you're free to tell them your thoughts. Until then, it's their call, not yours.
