What was the biggest news story last week? Was it not the Shirley Sherrod speech to the NAACP? Typically, the Sunday news shows concentrate on whatever news event leads the week.
Based on that fact, wouldn't you think that the news networks would be jumping at the chance to interview Shirley Sherrod? If you thought so, you would be wrong. Interviewing Sherrod obviously will not further the liberal agenda which the America Pravda is so eager to propagate.

'She was likened to a modern day Rosa Parks or Nelson Mandela, but former the Ag official, according to the Washington Post, was not interviewed on a single major Sunday morning talk-show following a week that can only be described as a Shirley Sherrod media frenzy. Though the conversation on Sunday morning focused on race in America, noticeably absent from the discussion was the woman behind the controversy. Earlier this week a handful of people in the blogosphere began to speculate Sherrod would pull off a "full Ginsburg," or become only the thirteenth person to appear on all major Sunday talk-shows on the same day since the feat was first accomplished by William H. Ginsburg in 1998. However, this was before a clip of Sherrod suggesting Andrew Breitbart wants blacks "stuck back in the times of slavery" went viral. Sherrod also drew extensive criticism late in the week for blasting Fox News as racist.
Considering the Shirley Sherrod interview barrage that took place last Thursday, to not see Sherrod on television Sunday morning sends a clear signal the mainstream media no longer feels allowing the public to get to know the real Shirley Sherrod advances their agenda.'
She's now a liability to the White House. Her racial animus is clearer and clearer. So, along with the White House, the media has given her the hook."
What a surprise! Racism is a Sherrod family affair. Not only is Shirley a race-baitor, but so is hubby Charles.

Yeah, it does figure that Charles Sherrod is a minister. Most of the black figures in the civil rights movement were ministers. It's only the Religious Rightwingnut evangelist preachers who don't believe in civil rights.
Why is it "hate speech" to call out racism for what it is? Are you naive enough to think that whites in Georgia hadn't stolen some elections for decades? Have you never heard of the "literacy tests"? Do you think laws against voter intimidation were created because of rampant New Black Panther Party activities in Philly in 2008? How can anybody describe heinous acts exclusively with genteel words? You kind of need ugly to describe and explain ugly.
As for Shirley Sherrod, there's no explanation for why she didn't appear on the Sunday shows. Since she didn't go anywhere, there's at least a possibility that SHE chose to not go on the shows. She was on CNN quite a time on Tuesday and Wednesday; perhaps the lady had had enough by then.
Sherrod "drew extensive criticism late in the week for blasting Fox News as racist"? Really? By anybody that doesn't work for Faux Noise or NotSoBrightbart? Most of the comments I heard were to the effect that she was spot on in her assessment. One thing the Sunday morning shows DID cover was the almost universal criticism of Faux and NotSoBrightbart in this fiascol they acted every bit as unprofessionally as did some members of the Obama administration.
Is it really so hard for rightwingnuts to say "Oops, we goofed"? Rather than realize that they made a mistake with the first alteration of the videotape, eat a little crow, and move on, most rightwingnuts seem hellbent on digging further and further to find something else that they can use to defend their initial (mistaken) allegation of rampant racism in the Obama administration.
When you find yourself in a hole, Rule #1 is "Stop digging". Why can't rightwingnuts get that simple notion?
Whites are not stealing elections in 2010. All that is in the past. Get over it. The "preacher" obviously hasn't.
Good grief, will you rightwingnuts NEVER learn? You let NotSoBrightbart fool you with a snippet of a speech by Shirley Sherrod, and the truth came out when her entire speech was viewed.
So now, what do you do? Look at 2 minutes -- an EDITED two minutes -- of a 26 minute speech that Rev. Charles Sherrod gave at a University of Virginia Law School symposium celebrating the fifty years since the Freedom Riders came south. And with that edited two minutes, you reach the conlcusion that Charles Sherrod is a racist and isn't a real Christian.
I doubt that you'll do it, but I dare any of you bigmouths to watch and listen to the entire 26 speech Rev, Sherrod have that day, and then come away with the conviction that he's a racist and not a true Christian. If you do, then you're a liar. His testimony is some of the most powerful stuff I've heard. And I have to thank you for that, because I never would have heard Sherrod's speech but for your rightwingnut rant.

You have no idea of what's gone on in Albany, Georgia, do you, Ms. MoreLies? If you did, you wouldn't have the nerve to question Sherrod's beliefs. It's my good fortune that one of my school's administrators grew up in Albany, and he shared his life experiences with my students last spring, when we got to the civil rights movement. If you want, I'll offer you an invite when he comes back next year; you might actually LEARN something about history outside of your white Religious Rightwingnut-approved books.
