What part of the country -- no, what planet -- do you live on that you think the MSM has "forgotten our military"? Not where I live, and not the TV I watch or the newspapers I read.

Under Bush, when our soldiers died, there was nonstop coverage of death counts.
Now, under Obama, American deaths are up in Afghanistan, and all of a sudden, this is not newsworthy.
Maybe you need to open your eyes and your ears. There's been a lot of coverage about wether Afghanistan is becoming another Vietnam -- just a place for American kids to die for a questionable reason. They fired the damn commanding general, for gosh sakes, because we're getting so bogged down. Just today, there was a debate on funding the war in Afghanistan.
This Bush-Is-Being-Persecuted talking point has become quite moldy. Hell, Andrew Napolitano from Faux Noise (and as rightwingnut as you can get) even said that Bush and Cheney should have been indicted, without question. Trying to drum up sympathy for those Devils is like drumming up sympathy for Rod Blagojevich: the Impossible Dream.
