Bill O'Reilly is right on when he accuses the American Pravda of corruption because of failure to report news that will adversely affect their beloved President Obama. This is a gross injustice to the American people. The job of the press is to hold our leaders accountable, and it ain't happenin'.
While the American Pravda is in overdrive covering the Mel Gibson racist rants, which they are thrilled to do because they are still ticked off at Gibson for "The Passion", they somehow have overlooked the racism coming out of the New Black Panthers. Gibson has obviously proven himself to be a scumbag, but that doesn't lessen the horrible, hateful rants coming from the New Black Panther dude.
And just when CBS's Bob Schieffer had the perfect opportunity to question Attorney General Eric Holder about his dismissal of charges against the two New Black Panthers intimidating voters in Philly on Election Day 2008, he did what we knew all along he would do: Nothing. He ignored the story.
From Gateway Pundit:
Bill O’Reilly: Media Networks Are Not Honest & Their Agenda Is to Protect Obama (Video)
"Bill O’Reilly told his audience last night that in light of the false reports on the Arizona immigration law and the fact that the three media networks ignored the New Black Panther polling scandal, that the three media networks were not reporting the truth and their agenda today is to protect President Obama.
Agreed.
Bill O’Reilly:
'I’m not here to bash Bob Scheiffer, but I am teed off. I’m really teed off. Because I believe the three network news casts. You know they ignored the Black Panther polling story, didn’t cover it at all. I believe now they are basically not being honest about the news any more because they have an agenda and the agenda is to protect President Obama.'
And, that’s just what we’ve been saying.
Thank you, Bill O’Reilly."

The MSM covered it when it WAS a news story. This case disappeared in May 2009. There is no earthly reason why it should be in the news in the summer of 2010.
O'Reilly isn't a "news" man, he's a commentator. As such, he can comment on any story he comes across, even if it's more than a year old, if his audience wants to hear about it. That doesn't mean that the MSM is supposed to resurrect a dead story, however.
I think it became news again with the rant against "crackers" and calling for killing whites. Somehow, that should be newsworthy. But, in the land of Obama, the racists are Tea Partiers.
The tape of that racist numbnut King Samir Shabazz is from 2009, too. But assume, for the sake of argument, it's new. How does some guy babbling racist comments at passersby on a street corner in Philly "news"?
No, the rightwingnut universe is trying to make this an election-year issue and they're also trying to divert attention from the Teabaggers.
This is not "news" for any reputable organization. Which is probably why Faux Noise has run with it.
It's Ironic that one of the most racist organizations in the country (NAACP) is voting on a resolution that calls elements of the tea party movement as racist without any evidence to substantiate their racist claims, yet never condemns the black pamper party for their threat of actual violence caught on tape.
Who gives a rats-ass what a anti-white racist organization says, that's like caring what the KKK thinks about black people.
And who better to be the keynote speaker at the annual NAACP convention M.O.
This administration and the leftwing democrats are in bed with the lamestream media, the administration decides what’s news and what isn't.
If they walk and sound like a duck, they're ducks!
What on earth are you talking about regarding Tea Partiers, Diogenes? What's there to discuss? There's no racism among these people, unless you include leftists attending their get-togethers posing as racists in order to demean the Tea Partiers. We're on to your tricks, Diogenes.
As to the 2009 rant, we only got word of it recently, otherwise we would have been outraged last year.
Faux Noise knew that the NAACP convention was going to be addressing their (Faux') darlings, the Teabaggers, and that the Teabaggers might face some negative publicity... so Faux took to the offensive. They sought to defuse the NAACP attack with a peremptory attack of their own against the New Black Panther Party. It was a convenient distraction for Faux.
And, from what I've read, it also seems like some rightwingnut blogger on Redstate (Lars Larson? Erik Erikson? Dumbass Dumbasson?) decided to try to push this story, urging Republican candidates to push this 2008 issue as a campaign issue in 2010.

1. The NBPP guy, Shabazz, is a racist. And a jerk. And probably just about anything else you may wish to call him. And he's more than fair game for the talking heads, if they want to talk about him. But the guy isn't "news" worthy of network news coverage any more than hog futures are news.
2. It's hilarious how people that are near and dear to your heart, Ms. MoreLies, can do no wrong. If a Christian disagrees with what you happen to believe, you're quick to label them as "not a Christian". If a Teabagger exhibits racist tendencies, they're not "really" Teabaggers, they're leftwingnut liberal plants. Not necessarily so. Are there plants? Yep, I bet there are, on both sides of the aisle. But there ARE racists in the ranks of Teabaggers, too. Denying even that possibility is silly.
Don't believe me? Check out a guy named Dale Robertson from Texas, one of the first Teabaggers. He's the guy that was photographed in a Texas flag shirt, holding a sign that said "Congress=slave owner Taxpayer= niggar". (Yeah, that's the way the dope spelled it.)

That's just one. Now, does that make the entire Teabagger movement racist? No. Is there (at the very least) a tolerance of racism within the Teabagger movement? Let's answer it this way: Dale Robertson is still doing his schtick without a word of protest from other Tea Party activists.
And AnonyMouse, what's wrong with Michelle Obama being a keynote speaker at the NAACP convention? As the nation's first black First Lady, it's understandable that they'd appreciate hearing from her.
