Peace Activists? No Way

Peace, peace, there is no peace when it comes to Arab and Jew. In fact, peace is the last thing that the Muslim world wants; they are obsessed with the destruction of Israel. Nothing short of pushing every last Jew into the Mediterranean will suffice.

The chances that the activists on the flotilla are interested in peace are about as remote as me becoming an Obama groupie. And trust me, that ain't gonna happen.

Read from Gateway Pundit:

Gaza Flotilla Organizer at Hamas Rally: “Anyone Who Does Not Stand With Palestine Will Be Toppled… World Is Progressing to Islam” (Video)

"The peaceful Gaza Flotilla activists who attacked the Israeli soldiers with pipes, clubs, knives and stun grenades had more on their mind than feeding the 'starving' children in Gaza.

Bülent Yildirim, the main organizer of the Gaza Flotilla, spoke at a Hamas rally held in Gaza in February 2009. The rally was organized in support of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who stormed out of a debate on the Gaza war in Davos. The speech appeared on the Internet. Remember, Yildirim is the main organizer of the Gaza Flotilla and his organization is linked to Islamic terror groups.

Bülent Yildirim: 'Oh people of Paradise, let me tell you: You are not alone, we love you a lot.'

Arabic Translator: 'Oh people of Paradise, you are not alone in the fray. We love you, and we are at your side all the time.'

Bülent Yildirim: 'Our beloved brothers, all of Turkey supports you. The day has come to remove the embargo, Allah willing.'

Arabic Translator: 'Our beloved brothers, all of Turkey supports you. The day has come to remove the siege, Allah willing.'

Bülent Yildirim: 'From here, I call upon all the leaders of the Islamic world, and upon all the peoples… Anyone who does not stand alongside Palestine – his throne will be toppled.'

Arabic Translator: 'Anyone who does not stand alongside Palestine will be defeated.'

Bülent Yildirim: 'Everything is Progressing Towards Islam'

Just to be clear… The flotilla was never about feeding the children."

"Anyone who does not stand alongside Palestine – his throne will be toppled."

vs.

"The day of the Lord is near for all nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head."

Is there a significant difference between these two statements? (Other than, of course, one you hate and one you love, Ms. MoreLies.)

There's a huge difference. One statement came from a group of deceived Muslims. The other statement was made by GOD, spoken through His prophet Obadiah. If you can't see the difference, you've got big problems.

Oh, I see. You really made this simple for me.

One statement, you believe in. The other you don't. We get that. But try to cast aside authorship for a moment, and explain the stark difference between the two.

They're not identical, obviously, but they're not all that different, either. If you didn't recognize their origins, you'd be hard pressed to choose one over another. In a sense, both are not much more than "trash talking" a religious opponent.

On a different branch of the same tree, I watched an old Lewis Black concert on HBO the other night, and one of his riffs was very a propos. (I'll even try to clean it up a bit for you.)

"So why do Bush and his Christian buddies believe marriage is between a man and a woman? Because it says so in the Bible - the Old Testament, to be exact. Of course, they've forgotten we have a thing in this country called "the separation of church and state" or, as I call it in layman's terms, 'the tough sh*t law.' But they also seem to have forgotten that the New Testament is the Christian Bible and the Old Testament is the Jewish Bible. Please allow me to speak on behalf of my people: 'Keep your f***ing Christian Right noses out of our reading material!' "

A little misguided and over-the-top, but a good sentiment nonetheless!

Do you realize, in all the months/years you've been doing this, you haven't once quoted Jesus Christ? You quote the Old Testament, you quot Paul, you quote anybody that will offer a sliver of support for your Radical Religious Rightwingnut ideology. But not Jesus.

Why?

Because Jesus would never support what you represent.
