Why on earth would ANYBODY bother watching a half-hour of Glenn Beck?

Based on Beck's ratings, he is cleaning up. I guess that means someone is tuning in. On the other hand, Olbermann, Matthews, and Maddow are all drawing pathetic ratings.

More people watch Fox News in the middle of the night than watch these leftists on MSNBC during prime time hours.

All that proves is that P.T. Barnum was right in suggesting that there's a sucker born every minute. (Although it doesn't appear that Barnum ever said that, but who cares? Certainly not Beck.)

I didn't say certain life forms watch Beck; there's always more trailer trash in America than college graduates. I just wondered why. Informercials are more entertaining.

College graduation doesn't automatically make a person higher on the human ladder. There's plenty of "smart college graduates" working at Mcdonalds and Walmart. You said it right. Self proclaimed "smart" people like you are in the minority. Passing a series of tests and getting a piece of paper has nothing to do with whether or not someone is a viable member of society. As for you, getting a teaching degree is not the hardest thing to do. Your comment about Glenn Becks ratings vs olbermann and maddow just proves that you are the real sucker. Most everyone else has already figured these leftist loons out. Educated and in the minority; HHMMMMMMM

1. I don't have a teaching degree.

2. You don't have any degree, do you? A GED, maybe?

3. I don't live and die on Keith Olbermann or Rachel Maddow. And how many people tune in to watch any TV show doesn't affect the truth or falsity of what is said on that show.

4. Were you trying to insult me by labelling me as being "educated and in the minority"? If so, you misfired yet again. I'm not ashamed to be educated and being in the minority wouldn't bother me, either, if I knew I was in the right. But I'm not in the minority, actually: more people voted with me than against me. So being in the minority apparently is YOUR issue.

Oh right, you side you were a lawyer. That explains your nose in the air attitude.
Did the taxpayers fund your education? Probably.
Lawyers are leaches on society.
obama was elected because he promised so many things and people will do anything for a free lunch.
Too bad his policies have driven us deeper into debt.
As Benjamin Franklin said, giving up liberty for short term security leaves a person with neither.
I will now be up nights wondering if i can make it on my GED.

No, the taxpayers didn't pay for my education, at least not in law school... although I did attend a state university, so if you wanted to go all convoluted on it, I probably did benefit from that, plus the student loans I obtained (and paid back, before you go down that path).

Now, I did receive a partial scholarship for the first three years of my undergrad years, at a different state university... a southern state university, at that!

Anything else to whine about, JDGED?

And as for having my nose in the air, I can actually look downwards and still look down my nose at you.
