Why can't they keep sex out of the classroom? Liberals are busy indoctrinating our children in their state-run schools.
The latest is "Milk Day" in California to honor a homosexual politician who was murdered in 1978. I had never heard of the guy, so I Googled him, and it sounds like his murder had nothing to do with his sexual orientation. Nevertheless, he will be used by the likes of gay activist Kevin Jennings to ram their homosexual agenda down the throats of our impressionable children.
Read from One News Now:
Parents warned about upcoming 'Milk Day' in Calif.
"A conservative activist is urging parents to take action against the homosexual indoctrination of 'Harvey Milk Day,' which will affect California public school students as young as five years of age.
Last year, lawmakers in The Golden State designated May 22 be the day that schools honor the openly homosexual San Francisco politician who was assassinated in 1978. Although that date falls on a Saturday this year, Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com reports that May 17-28 may include exercises in celebration of Milk, as students will participate in commemorative activities honoring him without parental notification or consent.
The exercises could consist of anything teachers or school board members deem appropriate, including in-class reading and writing activities about the politician, or watching the film Milk. Assemblies teaching homosexuality and alternate lifestyles, cross-dressing contests, or mock 'gay' parades and weddings could also take place.
Thomasson is alerting parents to contact their child's school and ascertain the specific days and activities that will honor the late homosexual politician. If any celebration is scheduled to commemorate Milk, the pro-family activist urges parents to keep their children home.
'It is a moral crime for virtually all the Democrats in the California legislature to force this upon the six-million children in California schools,' Thomason argues.
He adds that Milk was one of the worst examples as a role model for children. 'Milk believed in adult-child sex; he believed in lying to get ahead. He is one of the worst role models that children could have,' the SaveCalifornia.com president contends. 'Teachers, principals, and schools that push Harvey Milk's values are responsible for the degradation of children as human beings.'
Thomasson believes the government is indoctrinating children through the public school system -- 'Public schools are government schools,' he says -- and he points out that every California school currently has a Gay Straight Alliance club or recognizes the Day of Silence."

Very idiotic, even for you, Ms. ML. And your inability to identify Harvey Milk, even though his movie biography "Milk" won Oscars in 2009 for Best Writing and Best Actor is mystifying.
No, what got my head shaking was this:
"The exercises could consist of anything teachers or school board members deem appropriate, including in-class reading and writing activities about the politician, or watching the film Milk. Assemblies teaching homosexuality and alternate lifestyles, cross-dressing contests, or mock 'gay' parades and weddings could also take place."
Really? REALLY?
"Milk" was rated "R" so it's doubtful that any teacher would be allowed to show the film to a class, even if they wanted to -- and I doubt many would want to. (The only R-rated movie I show my high school classes is "Saving Private Ryan" and I get parental permission slips signed for that.)
But the clincher? Suggesting that cross-dressing contests and/or mock gay parades and weddings might be held? Where the hell would you or your rightwingnut blogger compadre come up with that? Because those potential activities aren't specifically DISALLOWED in writing? C'mon, get real. Or, if you can't get real, then really go for it; why stop at cross-dressing and mock gay parades/marriages? Why not claim that there might be assemblies that involve not just mock gay marriages, but actual man-boy sex acts being performed in the auditorium? Or gay/lesbian mass masturbation in the gymnasium? Or -- let's get wild! -- actual hunting and shooting of gays out on the football field?
Your virulent homophobia is pitiful. Honest, Ms. ML, homosexuality isn't contagious. You and our nation's kids are not going to "catch it" by incidental contact with homosexuals.
Sorry, Diogenes, but I don't keep up with what comes up out of Hollywood and rarely go to the movies because they are usually raunchy.
I have no bad feelings toward gays, but I find it unacceptable to push their agenda down the throats of children. I don't think it is right to push sexuality at our children--hetero or homo. Aren't they consumed with sexuality enough on their own?
You'd be surprised what takes place in public schools. Some in California taught their students about Islam and had them praying to Allah, taking Muslim names, etc. But, don't dare mention Jesus. Separation of church and state!!!
The public schools are capable and guilty of much indoctrination. Have you forgotten the many videos of school children singing praises to Obama? And don't forget who is behind the scenes implementing all this mischief: the purveyor of perversion himself, gay activist Kevin Jennings.
Do we stage heterosexual parades on Presidents' Day, to celebrate those famous heterosexual Presidents, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln? So why would you assume that they'd do so for Harvey Milk?
You don't like gays that "pish their agenda down children's throats" (slick allusion there, Ms. Religious Rightwingnut) but you also don't like people who may be hiding their gayness, like you (incorrectly, apparently) accused Elena Kagan of doing.
So what you're really saying is that you don't like gays that are openly gays OR gays that are in the closet. Any other gay, however, you don't mind.
Pretty sad, Ms. MooreLies, pretty sad.
My objection to Elena Kagan is her radical socialist views, not her sexual orientation. I don't want gay activists pushing their agenda down people's throat, but I also don't want them posing as straight so as to gain favor with the public. If they want to be gay, so be it. All I'm asking for is honesty. Just because Kagan's friends have stated that she's not gay does not make it so. They could easily be covering for her.
People like Kevin Jennings are not content to just be gay themselves. They want to push their agenda on others as Jennings is doing with the materials he's promoting in the public schools. If you don't see that, it's only because you choose to look the other way.
If your objection to Elena Kagan isn't sexually based, then why in the world would you devote an entire post about the sexual innuendo and rumor being drummed up by the rightwingnut community?
You're right that her friends might be covering for her. That's human nature. (I'm sure what few friends you have would suggest that you're a nice person.) But you do not provide ONE WORD to support any conclusion that she's gay. You're just smearing fr the sake of smearing, because you and the rightwingnut community get off on condemning homosexuality.
Your virulence makes one wonder if there's homosexuality in your own family, Ms. ML. Does your household have its own dark secrets, and your homophobia is a manifestation of your self-loathing?

(See how ugly unsubstantiated rumormongering can be? Doesn't your alleged "Christianity" warn you about such stuff? Try growing up and finding an ounce of true Christian compassion, Ms. MooreLies.)
"...but I also don't want them posing as straight so as to gain favor with the public."
Really? So why haven't you made an equally virulent posting about George Rekers? You know, the Religious Rightwingnut anti-gay evangelist who traveled to Europe with a "baggage handler" from rentboy.com? The guy who preached that homosexuality is a disease that can be treated and cured?
If there was ever a person "posing as straight so as to gain favor with the public" it's George Rekers... yet not a peep out of you.
You'r a phony, Ms. MooreLies.
Sorry, never heard of him.
Yeah, I figured as much. If he hadn't embarassed your Homophobes R Us group, you'd know him then.
He was a co-founder, with James Dobson, of the Family Research COuncil. And he was a prominent member of NARTH, the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality, which says gaydom is something one can "cure" with Focus-on-the-Family approved treatment.
But you neverheard of him. LMAO

I guess we can expect you to do some research now and publish a hard-hitting statement decrying the debauchery of this heinous deceiver.
Right after hell freezes over, I'll bet.
