President Obama is such a phony. For several years now, we've been told that he is a Chicago White Sox fan, which would make sense after decades of living in the Windy City. However, when questioned as to whom is his favorite White Sox player, he doesn't have a clue who is on the team, and he doesn't even pronounce the name of the ballpark properly.
Frankly, I could care less which baseball team Obama supports, but his dishonesty is disturbing. Mr. President, stop portraying yourself as something you are not. Just be honest with the American people.

No academic records, no history, he has to be “The Invisible Man“.
How stupid are Americans? the last election should answer that!
He'snot invisble. He's right therem, in the White House. Eat your heart out!
Maybe YOU should take a listen:
The President was asked "Who was one of your favorite White Sox players GROWING UP?" And Obama answered to the effect that he wasn't a White Sox fan when he was a kid, because he grew up in Hawaii. He was an Oakland A's fan... probably because the A's were on top of the baseball world in the early 1970s, when Obama was a boy.
All your nonsense about him "not having a clue who is on the team" and his being "dishonest" is -- as is much of your crap -- a pointless diatribe generated by your irrational hatred of the man. You suggest HE be honest? How about you being honest, for a change, Ms. ML?
But you were right on one point: he did say "Cominsky" instead of "Comiskey". Wow. You really stuck him but good on that one, didn't you? Congrats.
DiogenASS: 2012 will be here sooner then you think, when American's throw the bum out!
learn how to spell thumbsucker!
It's not spelling (like you would know, anyway, AnonyMouse). It's fat fingers on a smaller keyboard.
But nice that you actually failed, yet again, to say anything about the supposed TOPIC here.
Do us a favor: keep your yap shut until you have something worthwhile to say... that'll silence you for a goooooooood long while.
The constant presence of a naysayer on this blog tells me all I need to know. This blog is truth telling. Or "Diogenes" wouldn't be hopping along it's roof gutter every day like a crow.
Also memo to the paid Obama-KGB scum: you probably thought it was kewl to all use Hellenic names... But it's actually a classic bonehead amateur play, since it makes you instantly identifiable. Jackasses.
KGB? Really??? LMAO What comic book you reading, anyway?
Hey, Ms. ML -- no response to the fact that you're lying, yet again? That the whole premise of this nonsensical post was fallacious? That you misrepresented, again, what the President said or did?
Yeah. I thought not.
Diogenes, you have a point. However, Obama stammered around when he answered the question, which leads one to believe that he never was a baseball fan. He could have named at least one player he liked from any team, but he did not.
He didn't spend his youth following baseball, but rather being mentored by radical Marxists like his buddy Frank Marshall Davis, the radical pervert in Hawaii.
A commenter at Gateway Pundit said it best:
"'I’m a Southside Kid.'
Total bs. There isn’t a kid alive on the South Side of Chicago that doesn’t know the name of the White Sox Stadium.
Obama is a complete fraud top to bottom."
Your overactive imagination leads you to believe a lot of stuff that has no factual basis whatsoever. If Obama wasn't a Sox fan, the easiest thing in the world for him to do was show up at the Nats game and just throw out the first pitch in the Nats gear they gave him. For some reason, he chose to pull out a Sox hat, when he really didn't have to. And he's worn Sox jackets and hats before.
Is it really that big a deal to you, to "prove" that you're right when the facts don't back you up in the least? On something as ridiculously minor as the President of the United States' favorite baseball team?
Get serious! If you can.
Diogenes, you are missing the point as you so often do. Nobody cares which team Obama supports, but we want honesty from our leaders. In this interview, Obama proved that he is a phony. A huge White Sox fan, which he portrays himself to be, would know how to pronounce the name of the ballpark and would willingly announce which players are his favorites even if it doesn't apply to his years growing up.
"There isn’t a kid alive on the South Side of Chicago that doesn’t know the name of the White Sox Stadium."
That says it all. He's a phony, pretending to be a White Sox fan. If he isn't interested in baseball, that's fine. Just be honest about it.
Cominskey vs. Cmiskey is not that big a deal, Ms. ML, no matter how much you try to make it so. You're petty and vindictive, and it clearly shows.
Obama answered the question posed of him. He was asked which White Sox players he remembered GROWING UP. He explained that he didn't follow the White Sox when he was a kid, as he followed the A's, and didn't follow the Sox until he moved to Chicago as an adult. Hell, if he did what you now suggest he SHOULD have done, you would have been hammering him for "ducking the question" by telling the sportscaster which White Sox players he remembers TODAY, instead of telling the sportscaster which Sox players he followed AS A KID.
We understand your tactics, Ms. ML, and they're hardly new. Your tactics are about as intellectually honest and as morally bankrupt as asking someone when they quit beating their spouse. No matter what the subject, no matter what the occasion, President Obama simply can do nothing right, as far as you're concerned. Don't worry; we get that, Ms. ML. Your complete lack of any semblance of objectivity is very well documented.
My tactics are to expose Obama for the corrupt, socialist/Marxist , fraud that he is. Yes, I am quick to pounce on him because, unlike you, I haven't fallen for his lies. The man is destroying our country, what is left of it, taking away our freedoms, and bankrupting our future generations.
You, on the other hand, would defend him no matter what he did. So, I guess we are even.
LMAO You and I are nowhere near equal, Ms. ML. You're a rank amateur... emphasis on "rank".
And what exactly are you, Diogenes?
An informed voter.
