We have clearly voiced our opposition, but he cares not a bit what we want. Jim DeMint may just be right when he said that the failure to pass healthcare may be Obama's Waterloo.
As the commenter "Conservative_not_Republican" wrote on the Red State website, "Two Democrats are happy about all of the Chaos! Their names are Bill and Hillary Clinton. The order for the 'Hillary in 2012' signs may be already placed."
That's a good point, but I beg to differ. I would add a third individual who is pleased by all this mess: Jimmy Carter, who has been living with the "worst president in U.S. history" label for decades. Finally, he has a chance to pass on this humiliating label to President Barack Obama.
President Obama was once opposed to implementing reconciliation for the passage of the "let grandma die" bill. He was against it, before he was for it.

It's has nothing to do with healthcare, this administration wants to transform America.
The government taking over 1/6 of the economy would lay the foundation for that transformation.
How, exactly, does healthcare reform equate to a government "takeover" of the entire health care industry? Because insurance companies are regulated? They're regulated now.
Increase your dosages, AnonyMouse and Ms. Moore. You're becoming a threat to yourselves and others.
Decrease your dosage of koolaid. Thsi is an transformational bill. The current regulations are part of the problem now. Also the millions of illegals the gov't will do nothing about. Dems claim that 45000 people die each year from lack of health insurance. Then why will coverage not kick in for 4 years but taxes start now. Don't they care about the 180000 that will supposedly die during the 4 years? What about the cuts to medicare, cutting the very people who have paid into medicare all these years. Because dems cater to the folks looking for a handout, who are dem voters to begin with. They must expand this group to gain voters. The folks who have worked for years to earn their health benefits would now suffer so that more FREE coverage can be had by the slackers. And last, health coverage doesn't guarantee health care.
Healthcare reform is not about FREE healthcare. And nobody "pays into" Medicare! No wonder rightwingnuts oppose this so much: they understand darn little about the proposals.
But, then again, what DO rightwingnuts understand, other than Old Testament misquotes about homosexuality and abortion? Or Faux Noise pronouncements?
Diogenass: If you can't see how requiring every American to purchase a minimum of health coverage by 2016 or pay a penalty of $750 or 2 percent of their income, then you’re really dumber then I thought you were, this is nothing more then a government take over of 1/6 of the economy with a socialized medical entitlement program.
This is an attack on America’s Liberties & Freedoms and the fundamental principles, which has made this country great.
Congress has never crossed the line between regulating what people choose to do and ordering people to do it.
