John Patrick Bedell: A Registered Democrat

Diogenes, since you requested me to comment on John Patrick Bedell, I will accommodate your wishes. Contrary to what the American Pravda was making him out to be, this nutjob was one of yours--a leftist, a "9/11 truther", a Bush-hater, and surprise, surprise, a registered DEMOCRAT. You would be wise to let this story alone, Diogenes. It is not helping your cause.

Read all the details from Gateway Pundit:

It Begins… Media Calls Bush-Hating, Pot Smoking, Truther & Pentagon Shooter a “Right-Wing Extremist” …Update: Shooter Linked to Al Franken …Update: He’s a Dem

"So, which state-run media outlet will be the first to claim this Bush-hating Truther is a tea party activist? …We’ll have to wait and see.

In the meantime, the Christian Science Monitor was the first to call the pot smoking, Bush-hating, Truther a right wing extremist.

bedell

For the record, 35% of democrats believed Bush knew about the 9-11 attacks in advance. 99.9% of the left were Bush-haters.

UPDATE: So… Will the state-run media report this?
The Pentagon shooter is linked to several gay rights groups along with PETA, NPR, various drug legalization orgs, Greenpeace and Al Franken.

Hmm. So when was the last time you ran into a 'right wing extremist' who was a big fan of Al Franken?

UPDATE: The media’s 'right wing extremist' is a registered democrat."

And for another interesting nugget, more from Gateway Pundit:

Pentagon Shooter & Registered Democrat Used Arabic Terms & Font In His Internet Postings

[...]

"Although, officials said he did not have any suspected links to terrorist groups it was discovered this weekend that Bedell used the Arabic term 'inshallah' or 'God willing,' using Arabic font – “إن شاء الله” – on more than one on his internet postings.
Creeping Shariah reported:

'A Twitter post revealed that John Patrick Bedell had an account on SourceForge containing “Jihad code.” Looking at the account of jpbedell – he used the Arabic term “inshallah” or “God willing,” using Arabic font – “إن شاء الله” – on more than one page. Here are screenshots from the website and project named “openinsurgent.” '

This wasn’t the only time John Patrick Bedell used Arabic writing in his posts. Creeping Shariah has more.
Hat Tip Bob Grant

You won’t see this reported by the state-run media. In fact, they still haven’t reported that Bedell was a registered democrat."

How strange is that to use the term "inshallah"? I am familiar with it because of living in the Arab world, but I would guess that the average American has never heard such a term. And Arabic font?

Yeah yeah yeah. The guy was described as a libertarian by his own family. You rightwingnuts will paint him as a card-carrying member of Al Qaeda AND produce Breitbart video showing him giving a speech at Invesco, just before Obama's acceptance speech in August 2008. And he probably voted for a public option healthcare system, too.

You're as phony as the three dollar bills your causes attract. And not one of your "sources" is worth the nonexistent paper it's printed on.

By the way, the nonsense about 35% of Democrats believing Bush knew in advance of the 9-11 attacks just doesn't pass the smell test. If you track back through the myriad links, you'll see that Rasmussen (conveniently) never states what question was asked of those polled. If the question was "Did George Bush know in advance that Al Qaeda intended to attack the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on 9/11/01?" I would bet the farm that 35% did not say "yes". But if the question was more like "Did George Bush have advance knowledge that Al Qaeda was planning a terrorist attack on U.S. soil?" I'm surprised that ONLY 35% said "yes". After all, he DID receive just such a warning in a month before the attacks. And what did he tell his CIA briefer? "Thanks, you've covered your ass now."

Yeah, if Michele Malkin says it's so, it must be so. Can't find a better source than her, can ya?
