A little honesty from the gaffe machine himself, Joe Biden, who admitted that the government would control the insurance companies. Obama needs to get rid of him because Biden cannot keep his mouth shut, and in doing so, reveals the goals of the Obama Administration.

"Control" can mean "regulate", "hold in restraint", and/or "exercise authority over". Often, that control is exercised at the state level, but if we adopt your idea (which is a good one) to allow insurers to operate across state lines, then the feds will have to get involved... unless you want to let those insurers do whatever they want to do.
Do you think that we would all be better served if we left insurers to their own devices?
It never fails to amuse when rightwingnuts start parsing out each individual word ever uttered by any politician, with total disregard to CONTEXT.
Liberal democrats of the House and Senate continue to be on the wrong side of history and on the wrong side of that which is in the "vital interest" of America, they embraced, supported and promoted slavery during the 1800's, the republicans had to intervene to stop their madness and abuse.

If you've got it made right now, pick the Republicans, because they're all for maintaining the status quo. (That makes a lot of sense, if you're fat and happy.) But if you think that we can do better, and we should do better, for all Americans, then changes need to be made.
