Now, what is the likelihood of a just ruling being handed down on California's Proposition 8? With an activist gay judge--not likely.
What is it these people do not understand about the fact that Californians have spoken? They do NOT want gay marriage.
Read from One News Now:
Is the 'gay' fix in on Prop. 8?
Matt Barber
"Last weekend the San Francisco Chronicle 'outed' Proposition 8 Judge Vaughn Walker as an active practitioner of the homosexual lifestyle: 'The biggest open secret in the landmark trial over same-sex marriage being heard in San Francisco is that the federal judge who will decide the case, Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker, is himself gay,' revealed the Chronicle.
Judge Walker has presided over California's Prop. 8 case filed by homosexual extremists who seek to manufacture a constitutional 'right' to so-called 'same-sex marriage.' The legal odd-couple of former Bush attorney Ted Olson and Gore lawyer David Boies have partnered to represent the activist plaintiffs.
The revelation that Judge Walker apparently chooses to engage in homosexual conduct, if true, would explain much of his bizarre behavior throughout this trial. At every turn he's displayed extreme bias in favor of his similarly situated homosexual activist plaintiffs.
These individuals have eschewed the democratic process and seek to employ like-minded judicial activists to radically redefine the millennia-old definition of natural marriage. When it comes to wildly unpopular social engineering schemes such as the imposition of 'gay marriage' on the American people, arbitrary edict by way of judicial fiat is the left's tool of choice.
Enter Judge Walker. In unprecedented form, and to plaintiffs' delight, he has created a circus-like atmosphere throughout. He even violated federal rules by deciding to allow the trial to be broadcast worldwide, but was subsequently shot down and sharply rebuked by the U.S. Supreme Court for doing so.
Unfortunately, the damage was already done. Prop. 8 supporters lost around two-thirds of their expert witnesses who, naturally – based on homosexuals' violent reaction to passage of Prop. 8 – feared for their own safety and for that of family members.
Judge Walker then ordered Prop. 8 proponents to disclose private communications, work product, emails and campaign strategies to plaintiffs while – in an example of jaw-dropping inequality – permitting plaintiffs to keep the same materials secret.
He also allowed plaintiffs a parade of 'expert' witnesses who viciously maligned Christians and other observers of natural and historic sexual morality as 'prejudiced,' 'bigoted' and 'homophobic.'
This is no different than having an avid gun dealer/collector preside over a Second Amendment case – or a frequent user of medical marijuana deciding the legality of medical marijuana.
Even his fellow judges on the notoriously liberal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals have been forced to step-in and overturn more than one of his inexplicable rulings on the case.
Unfortunately, based on his demonstrated misbehavior, there's no reason to believe any of that will change. At worst, Judge Walker's continued involvement with this case presents a textbook conflict of interest. At best, it objectively illustrates the unseemly appearance of a conflict.
The framers of the U.S. Constitution – who referred to homosexuality as 'the sin that dare not speak its name' – could not have even conceptualized the ridiculous and oxymoronic notion of 'gay marriage,' much less considered it a constitutional right. Still, if Judge Walker miraculously divines from thin air that Patrick Henry had a fundamental 'right' to marry Henry Patrick, then who among us will be surprised?
Yes, he could stun the world and place constitutionalism – which he's sworn to observe – above personal ideology; but, based on his actions throughout this trial, I'm betting the fix is in.
This much is for sure: Any decision favoring plaintiffs in this case will be permanently marred and universally viewed as stemming from Judge Walker's personal biases and alleged lifestyle choices.
For these reasons, and in the interest of justice, he should now do the honorable thing and recuse himself."

Wouldn't it also be a "conflict of interest" if a heterosexual judge made this ruling? I mean, everyone knows that heterosexuals are biased against homosexuals!
I have a novel idea: try treating people like.... people.
Have you ever seen a gay animal!!! Animals follow natural law. When was the last time you saw a gay couple have a naturally born child. Give the gays their own island and check back in 10 years or so. I'll bet the population will not have increased at all!!!!
Uhh, yes, as a matter of fact, there's all sorts of homosexual sex in the animal kingdom. And very little monogamy. Are we nothing better than animals?
And diogenass claims to be a Christian.
Riiiiiiiiiight!
Oh, I see your point, AnonyMouse. One cannot be your type of "Christian" unless one stridently persecutes homosexuals.
Thankfully, I'm not that type of "Christian".
Hey Diogenes, I don't persecute gays and disagree with any actions to hurt people just because of their sexual preference.
However, I do support God's Word, which states that homosexuality is wrong, but that hardly makes me a persecutor of gays. Most Christians feel as I do. So cool it on the persecution labeling.
DiogenAss: you said it, not me.
How in the hell did you come to that conclusion by me saying?
"And diogenass claims to be a Christian."
Man, you are twisted!
Well, let's see, AnonyMouse. How would anybody reach that conclusion?
I say "try treating people like people." (I know, I know, a deliberately provocative assertion on my part, suggesting gays are "people", too.) You respond that I "claim" to be a Christian.
Now, logic (if you had any) would indicate that you've questioned my Christianity because I suggest gays should be treated like people. Logic would say that you must feel that a "true" Christian wouldn't treat homosexuals like people. And, further, if homosexuals aren't to be treated like people, they'd be persecuted.
See how logic works? Try "Logic for Dummies" next time; it may work for you.
And Ms. Moore, with all due respect, I wasn't even addressing you. But thanks for enlightening us as to what your version of "God" has to say about homosexuality. And, really, I tried not to laugh when you decided YOU, of all people, could speak for "most" Christians and their beliefs. "Most" Christians aren't anticipating The Rapture to occur in the near future. "Most" Christians don't believe in a overly-literal translation of the Bible. And "most" Christias don't have your smug self-assuredness that leads you to believe you can render judgment on everyone and everything!
As they say here in Colorado Springs, Focus on Your Own Damn Family. I'm sure your homeskooled kids would appreciate the attention. Or do they live with their dad now?
"What your version of 'God' has to say about homosexuality"
Diogenes, my version of God happens to be the Bible. Unlike you, I don't make things up as I go along in order to suit my desires. True Christians DO NOT rewrite the Bible.
Actually, most Christians do believe in the Rapture and in the literal Word of God.
Just because one goes to church and believes God exists, does not make him a Christian. Try reading John 3:3. Jesus's words, not mine. Again, you don't get to make the rules: HE does.
Diogenass: if you're a Christian, why would you damn others that believe in God or anybody that disagrees with your philosophy of what represents a true Christian?
Your nothing but BS! There isn’t a teacher in America that would actually take the time during a hectic school day with lessons to give and papers to grade just to and answer some comments on a blog.
Teachers don’t have that much free time to spend blogging.
My uncle was a teacher and he would never take the time answering some blog during school hours, even after school he had papers to grade and get ready for the next days or weeks assignments.
With what little time he had left in the day, he spent with his wife and children.
You’re a fraud, most likely still a student.
Must have hurt those delicate sensibilities of our Hostess with the Leastest again.....
Just wanted to thank AnonyMouse for the important lesson s/he offered on "How to Be a Teacher". Having an uncle who was once a teacher certainly qualifies you as an expert, AnonyMouse. That far outstrips the years of experience I've had in BEING a teacher!
