Why does our president not associate with any normal people? Why must they always be radicals in one way or another?
Read of yet another bizarre appointment, via Atlas Shrugs:
Hope and Sex Change: Obama Names Transgender Appointee to Commerce Department
"Does Obama know anyone who isn't wacky, radical, militant, judeophobic, socialist, marxist, pedophilic? ...... Does he chill with anyone who is normal? Isn't there one Marilyn Munster in the family? What a freak show this presidency is.
I guess this is better than teaching [fisting] to our children. Now there's a positive spin.
President Obama recently named Amanda Simpson to be a Senior Technical Advisor to the Commerce Department. ABC News
'In a statement, Simpson, a member of the National Center for Transgender Equality's board of directors, said that "as one of the first transgender presidential appointees to the federal government, I hope that I will soon be one of hundreds, and that this appointment opens future opportunities for many others."
A 2004 YWCA "Woman on the Move," Simpson recently served as Deputy Director in Advanced Technology Development at Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson, Arizona.
At Raytheon, Simpson -- a former test pilot who had worked for the company for more than a generation -- transitioned from male to female and was instrumental in convincing the military contractor to add gender identity and expression to its equal employment opportunity policy.
She later ran unsuccessfully for Congress and was a delegate for then-Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, to the Democratic National Convention in 2008."

Please forewarn us if you ever intend to criticize an appointee for job-related criteria. I don't plan to sleep with her, I doubt you plan to, or anybody else that might drop by this cozy little rightwingnut corner of the blogosphere. So do sexual orientation and genitalia really make a difference when you're talking about an appointee in the Department of Commerce? I mean, are you concerned that somebody at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce might be unduly influenced to have a sex change operation?
Diogenes: Are you a transsexual? Do you think that people that lie to themselves and others daily about their sexuality can really be trusted?
