Govt Spying on Facebook and Twitter

The fascists in the White House are spying on you.

From Atlas Shrugs:

NY Times: "Obama Administration Monitoring Facebook, Twitter for Political Protesters"....

"It's no wonder that Obama bowed to KGB chief Vlad Putin. He wants to be just like him. The left are fascists. Perhaps this over-the-top coup d'etat on America, the Constitution, and unalienable rights will be the straw that breaks the apathy of the America people, and they will throw the traitors and bloodsuckers out -- and relegate the totalitarian ideology to the dustbin of history, where it should have been kicked alongside nazism.

Be shocked.

NY Times: "Obama Administration Monitoring Facebook, Twitter for Political Protesters"....

'"The government is increasingly monitoring Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites for tax delinquents, copyright infringers and political protesters."

So ominously began an editorial in Sunday's New York Times.

Those with accounts at such Web sites should pay attention, for according to the Times, and other sources, Big Brother is watching you.

So be careful with your next Tweet or Facebook status, for you never know who's watching.

.....On the other hand, it will be interesting to see how Obama-loving media follow this story.

After all, the press were constantly bashing the Bush White House concerning electronic surveillance designed to protect the nation from terrorist attacks.

The Times might be pleased with itself by publishing an editorial on this subject in its opinion section, but under the previous administration, this would have resulted in a front page story with thousands of words.'

Rest here>>>"

If the Obama Administration is looking for tax delinquents, the mirror is the best place to look.

Where's all that outrage from those who were furious at Bush for spying on terrorists and their contacts within our country? Oh, that's right, this isn't being done by Bush; therefore, it's just fine. HYPOCRITES!

There's nothing hypocritical at all. Just use a little common sense:

Why is it that "liberals" were upset with the Bush wiretapping? because they were eavesdropping on private conversations.

When someone "monitors" social networking sites, they're only looking at information that has already been placed out in the public domain.

There's no expectation of privacy on Facebook et al. In fact, there's just the opposite!
