The Fort Hood massacre was nothing less than an act of war. Americans must not forget this tragedy because, in the name of allah, 14 lives were snuffed out.

Why has the Obama administration put this terrorist attack investigation on hold?
The healthcare system isn't going to shutdown next year or even next century; this healthcare bill doesn't even go into affect until 2014.
Is this more important then National Security?
Why is cap and trade such rush?
The world isn't going to end in the next hundred years or even thousand years.
Is this more important then Americas National Security?
Putting the 9/11 terrorist on trial to blame America and the Bush administration for acting in a direct and decisive manner so that many more American’s wouldn't be killed and after these combatants already said they would plead guilty to a tribunal.

Putting America's National Security on hold for his political ambitions after Obama in his own words said in a speech earlier this year “my single most important responsibility as President is to keep the American people safe. That is the first thing that I think about when I wake up in the morning. It is the last thing that I think about when I go to sleep at night.”
Obama seems to have changed his priorities on American’s safety.

The investigation isn't on hold at all. Obama asked that Congress wait on conducting any investigation on their own, so that the appropriate law enforcement, intelligence, and military agencies can complete their investigation. That's more important than Congressmen looking to score cheap political points.
As for the healthcare system not going to shut down next year, you're right. Unless something is done, costs will continue to spiral out of control -- but it won't "shut down". It'll just keep smacking us little guys in the throat, more and more.
