Christianity Vs. Islam

Another voice who confirms what I've been saying all along: a death threat exists for those who leave Islam. From One News Now:

Islam and Christianity - know the difference

"A leader in the Convocation of Anglicans in North America (CANA) says Christians must not be ignorant about Muslim beliefs.

Reverend Julian Dobbs of CANA is an expert on the Muslim world and Islam. He has written books and articles on the subject and says that more people are educating themselves about the differences between Islam and Christianity.

'While there are some who will mix and match portions of Christianity with Islam and want to have an understanding of Jesus as revealed in the New Testament [and] in the Koran, more and more people are realizing that the two simply do not mix...' he explains.

Dobbs points out that an example of differences is the penalty the Koran mandates for those leaving Islam.

'The Koran reveals...that if a man leaves the Islamic faith and refuses to return after three opportunities, he is to be killed,' he notes. 'Islam is the only religion that sanctions that sort of inappropriate, hostile behavior to those who want to leave the faith.'

In spite of that threat, however, Reverend Dobbs says many Muslims are leaving the religion of Islam for a life-changing relationship with Jesus."

Praise God!
