Obama Taints the Jury Pool?

We are in the midst of a disastrous presidential administration. President Obama is not looking out for the best interests of Americans.

Read about the latest foolish action on his part, via National Review:

More Obamateur Hour [Andy McCarthy]

"In a meeting with the press in China, President Obama said that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed would be 'convicted' and had 'the death penalty applied to him' . . . and then said he wasn't 'pre-judging' the case. He made the second statement after it was pointed out to him — by NBC's Chuck Todd — that the first statement would be taken as the president's interfering in the trial process. Obama said that wasn't his intention. I'm sure it wasn't — he's trying to contain the political damage caused by his decision — but that won't matter. He has given the defense its first motion that the executive branch, indeed the president himself, is tainting the jury pool. Nice work."

Smooth move, Mr. President. I can't help wondering if this was a slip of the tongue, or is our president doing his part to ensure an innocent verdict for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. I don't know; you tell me.

That's NOT what Chuck Todd said, at all. I heard the interview. Todd commented that, if our purpose for the trial in NYC was to show the world how our criminal justice system could function even in these trying circumstances, wasn't Obama's comment an indication that KSM had already been "pre-judged"?

It's laughable that anybody's even got the nerve to talk about tainting a jury pool. Anybody who isn't already biased against these defendants never listens to what any President has to say. In fact, they probably don't even know who the President is!

The democrats 70 to 100 million dollar bash America and the Bush Administration Show Trial.

And this is after KSM already said he would plead guilty to a military tribunal.

And the left wonders why taxpayers are angry.
