Christmas With a Capital "C"

I for one don't have any problem with calling Christmas "Christmas". But I do consider the feelings of someone on the other end of my greeting that may not be Christian and may be offended, especially Jewish people (who you claim to love sooooooo much) who are celebrating Chanukah.

But the commentary that accompanies this song is truly horrendous -- some of the least Christian-like stuff imagineable:

"But nobody wants to say 'Christmas', everything else but 'Christmas'. I know why, you do, too: it's because it's got 'Christ " in it, and after 2000 years, He's still intimidating people! You see, when a religious person says "I am the Way", people don't wanna hear it! They don't!.... So if you're not a Christian, or if you don't like it, and you don't want Christmas celebrated, God bless you, but let me tell you something. If you think you're gonna stop me from saying it because it offends you, I got advice for you: PUT A HELMET ON!"

What a sad commentary that Religious Rightwingnuts get a kicck oout of crap like that.

What Would Jesus Do, indeed!

Would he wish his opposition had been aborted? Don't think so.

You thought that I wouldn't post that little gem of a comment because you resorted to name-calling. But sadly, I exposed your true nature.

Sorry to break it to you, Diogenes, but Jews have never complained about Chrismas. It's the atheists who are so offended by the birth of Jesus. They are the ones doing all the complaining.

To anonymous who left a comment on this post:

Somehow when I was reading it, I accidentally rejected it. I apologize. If you would like to leave your comment again, I will be more careful to get it posted.

Diogenes: Nobody gives a damn what an atheist like yourself thinks about Christmas.

The self-absorbed atheists scum can pay homage to themselves during the Christmas season and nobody will lose one minute of sleep over it.

So get over yourself, you’re really insignificant.
