Obama is ACORN, and ACORN is Obama. Before reading this story, please remember that pertinent nugget. Obama defended ACORN as an attorney and he trained its leaders. He is in tight with the corrupt community organizing group.
Most important of all, he needs ACORN in 2010 when angry patriots come to the voting booths to rid the country of his socialist comrades who are destroying our country. Without ACORN, Democrats may have no means of cheating their way to victory in a close election.
Anyone remember the Minnesota Senate race in which Norm Coleman was in the lead, but that lead was stolen from him? How much of a factor was ACORN in that power grab?
That said, we find out that Obama's Justice Department has ruled that ACORN will receive government funding. What a surprise that in the Age of Corruption the most corrupt organization in the country will continue to be funded so it can continue in its corruption.

ACORN has been found guilty of voter fraud, illegal voter registration, conspiracy to traffic in child prostitution, human trafficking, and G-d knows what. My taxpayer dollars cannot be used to fund these vile criminals.

WASHINGTON — 'The Justice Department has concluded that the Obama administration can lawfully pay the community group Acorn for services provided under contracts signed before Congress enacted a law banning the government from providing funds to the group.
The department’s conclusion, laid out in a recently disclosed five-page memorandum from David Barron, the acting assistant attorney general for the Office of Legal Counsel, adds a new wrinkle to a sharp political debate over the antipoverty group’s activities and recent efforts to distance the government from it.
Since 1994, Acorn, which stands for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, has received about $53 million in federal aid, much of it grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development for providing various services related to affordable housing.
But the group has become a prime target for conservative critics, and on Oct. 1, President Obama signed into law a spending bill that included a provision that said no taxpayer funds — including funds authorized by previous legislation — could be “provided to” the group or its affiliates.'
'Conservative critics' -- man, what asshats reside at the Times. Is 'rule of law' a conservative issue? Is prostitution, ripping off the government, child trafficking a progressive platform for liberals?
'A Housing and Urban Development lawyer asked the Justice Department whether the new law meant that pre-existing contracts with Acorn should be broken. But in a memorandum signed Oct. 23 and posted online this week, Mr. Barron said the government should continue to make payments to Acorn as required by such contracts.'

Any for any rightwingnut to have the nerve to talk about "stealing elections" after the grandest larceny of all perpetrated by the GOP for Bushie in 2000?
I honestly know next to nothing about ACORN, but I've not heard that they've been convicted of voter fraud and trafficking in child prostitution. I've heard that they've been ACCUSED of that sort of stuff by all sorts of rightwingnuts... but I haven't heard of charges being filed, much less perpetrators being found guilty.
It's easy and common for rightwingnuts to scream "VOTER FRAID" when it's not even close to voter fraud. At best, there have een some isolated cases of independent contrcators working for ACORN who have been guilty of voter REGISTRATION fraud... which is a huge difference. And it[s a difference that your rightwingnut cohort, Pamela Jello, clearly understands, since she cites BOTH voter fraud and voter registration fraud.
PLEASE, keep telling yourself you lost the 2008 election because Obama lied and ACORN cheated. Because if you're convinced that's the case, you stand no chance of recovering in 2012. You're delusional.
I NEVER said Obama won the election because ACORN cheated. They more than likely cheated every opportunity that they got, but Obama won without them because he was one smooth operator who hoodwinked the moderates, who incidentally are fleeing from him in droves.
And man, oh man, did he get some help from the American Pravda which covered for him every chance they got and royally failed to vet him.
If the American people knew then what they know now, he'd be sitting in the US Senate today.
Nope, Obama would still be sitting in the White House. And you know why?
Because the voters would look back on eight failed years of the "compassionate conservatism" of George W and then look ahead and see John McCain, the old geezer, kicking the bucket in office and leaving us some second-string ex-beauty pageant princess in charge. Those two visions,combined, guaranteed a Democratic victory in 2008. And it'll repeat itself in 2012.
