Barack Obama won the 2008 election. But, it was not because America has turned liberal. John McCain was a terrible choice for the Republicans. It wasn't until Sarah Palin entered the race that conservatives showed any enthusiasm whatsoever. Obama won because he was a great orator and deceiver, and frankly, Americans were tired of electing Republicans who spent our hard-earned tax dollars like drunken sailors or Democrats.
Now, thanks to nine months of socialist rule, Americans are waking up to the horrors of liberalism, and the conservative ranks are growing. Thanks, Barack Obama. You are your worst enemy.
Read about the findings of a new Gallup poll, via Gateway Pundit:
New Gallup Poll Finds 40% of America Conservative– 20% Liberal
"A new poll released by Gallup found 40% of Americans consider themselves conservative.
Only 20% of Americans consider themselves far left liberals like Barack Obama.

Gallup reported:
'Conservatives continue to outnumber moderates and liberals in the American populace in 2009, confirming a finding that Gallup first noted in June. Forty percent of Americans describe their political views as conservative, 36% as moderate, and 20% as liberal. This marks a shift from 2005 through 2008, when moderates were tied with conservatives as the most prevalent group.'
For the record… This also shows how weak the Republican Party has become.
If there are twice as many conservatives as liberals in the country and the GOP holds minority status in the current government, there is something terribly wrong with the Republican Party leadership."

You can get a poll to say anything you want, if you phrase it correctly. Maybe 40% of Americans identify themsleves as "conservative" but only 20% identify themselves as "Republicans".. so there's an obvious disconnect there.
Play numbers games all you want. The only poll that counts happened last November, and you lost. I think it's because you're all rightwingnuts, you think it's because your side isn't rightwingnut enough (although how that is even possible is beyond me!) but it makes no difference: you lost, we won.
You're right. You won; we lost. So get a lid on your anger.
I'm just suggesting that parsing non-parasable numbers is a waste of your time. But, if you want to do it and think it proves anything, go for it. I'm afraid you rightwingnuts are so dazed and confused by not being in control anymore that you don't understand what anger is. The idea that Sarah Palin "angers" or "scares" any rational American is in itself a joke. The woman is laughable, and I beg you to work your butt off to get her nominated by the Republican Party. I can't think of anybody I'd rather see as a GOP candidate, with the possible (but impossible) exceptions of Rash Limbore and Glenn Dreck.
