Two-Thirds of Physicians Oppose Obama Care

racism

Wow! Two-thirds of American physicians are racists. So says former President Jimmy Carter.

According to the worst president of the twentieth century, if you are opposed to Barack Obama and his policies, you are a racist. Like we care if President Obama has black skin. It's the "red commie attraction" deep within his heart that is disturbing us.

Now, back to the physician angle. Not only are America's seniors outraged by a potential Obama Care bill, but America's physicians are even more outraged, to the tune of a whopping 66% opposing the legislation, with a 45% threatening to stop practicing medicine if it passes. That should do wonders for a healthcare provider shortage.

66% OF PRACTICING PHYSICIANS OPPOSE OBAMACARE ...Update: Dem Senator Warns of "Big, Big Tax" On Middle Class

"Two-thirds of America's doctors oppose Obamacare.
45% of doctors say they may quit practicing under the democrats nationalized health care system
.

Investor's Business Daily reported, via Michelle Malkin:

'Two of every three practicing physicians oppose the medical overhaul plan under consideration in Washington, and hundreds of thousands would think about shutting down their practices or retiring early if it were adopted, a new IBD/TIPP Poll has found.

The poll contradicts the claims of not only the White House, but also doctors’ own lobby — the powerful American Medical Association — both of which suggest the medical profession is behind the proposed overhaul.

It also calls into question whether an overhaul is even doable; 72% of the doctors polled disagree with the administration’s claim that the government can cover 47 million more people with better-quality care at lower cost.'

UPDATE: Democratic Senator Jay Rockefeller warned the democrats health care proposal would result in a 'big, big tax' on the middle class."

"My primary care doctor has said point blank that if this goes through, it will be a genocide on the elderly."

So rightwingnut bloggers know better tha, say, the New England Journal of Medicine as to what doctors prefer?

"The recent results of a New England Journal of Medicine poll of 2,130 doctors as first reported by Reuters finds that 63% are in favor of both public and private health care options. Just 27% said they wanted private options only with one in ten doctors favoring public options exclusively.

A majority of doctors (55%) also would like to see the Medicare age dropped a decade to cover those over the age of 55 according to the poll. Smaller surveys found that 73% of doctors said they ought to care for the uninsured and underinsured. 67% suggested they were willing to accept limits on payments for expensive drugs and procedures as a way to save money and make basic care available to more people."
