Obama playing the faith card. What a joke that is! The pro-infanticide president attempts to use the Bible and leftists ministers to push his abominable healthcare plan, which will result in the rationing of essential medical care to the elderly when they most need it, all so he can gain more control over our economy by moving us into government-run medical care. This man has absolutely no conscience or shame whatsoever.
The president says “We look out for one another; that is, I am my brother's keeper, I am my sister's keeper. And in the wealthiest nation in the world right now we are neglecting to live up to that call." That’s rich coming from a millionaire who totally ignores a half-brother living in a hut in Kenya and an aunt living in public housing in Boston.
And he lies through his teeth about Obama Care, claiming it will not include abortion or illegals. If it does not include abortion, than why on earth is Planned Parenthood supporting the plan.

It is not the ethical job of anyone to steal money from one group of people in order to give to another. My Bible says, ‘Thou shalt not steal,’ Mr. President. Admittedly, you are at a disadvantage here, seeing as your Bible says, ‘Thou shalt play Robin Hood on Whitey.’ This is why you have no credibility.

The President proves once again that he knows absolutely nothing about this country and the people who make it great. America is so far and away the most charitable nation in the world, a fact which Obama has never once noted in a speech. And Barack Obama has already sought to attack charitable giving by limiting the tax benefits of doing so. Again, the man is clueless.
Lastly, President Obama rejected as a ‘fabrication’ the claim that abortions would become government-funded. ‘Not true,’ Obama said.
This is an out-and-out baldfaced lie. I'm not even going to bother sorting this out, because Rush did it for me while I was driving all around greater Phoenix today, and I thought he did it well.
‘RUSH: Let's go back to the archives. This is July 17th, 2007, in Washington. Obama was candidate speaking to Planned Parenthood, and during the Q&A, the following question was asked: "You know the rights and access and rights and ability have to go hand in hand. We know that health care reform is an important part of your agenda. Could you talk, give us some specifics about how reproductive health care and women's health care is gonna fit into, be a part of primary care for women in your health care reform plans and how Planned Parenthood will continue to be a part of the health care safety net for women and families across the country?" Now, this is coded language. When they talk about "reproductive health care," it's abortion. "Reproductive health care" is abortion. Here's Obama's answer.
OBAMA: In my mind, uh, reproductive care is essential care. It is basic care, uh, and so it is at the center and at the heart of the plan that I propose. Essentially, uh, what we are doing is to say that, uh, we're going to set up a public plan that all persons and all women can access if they don't have health insurance. Uh, it will be a plan, uh, that will provide all essential services, including, uh, reproductive services.
RUSH: There you have it.
OBAMA: We also will subsidize those who prefer to stay in the private insurance market, except the insurers are going to have to abide by the same rules in terms of providing comprehensive care, including reproductive care.
RUSH: All right, folks. It could have been more clear. He just explained here how his health care plan would provide abortion as basic care -- and furthermore, he was going to force the private insurance market to have to abide by the same rules. And here's Andrea Mitchell saying, " White House efforts to dispel all these notions that tax dollars would fund abortions..." They most definitely would. Look, this guy is a big pro-abort guy. Don't forget, this is the guy who voted three times in Illinois to go ahead and allow a botched abortion -- a child that survives the abortion -- not to be saved. I mean, you can't get more pro-abort than this guy is.’
Not to mention the fact that they've already guaranteed their voters that abortions will be covered. This is just one of many examples: California Congressman: Of Course Abortion will be covered under ObamaCare
To recap: Obama has no faith of any note, except His complete and utter agreement that He must change things so that the white man's greed no longer runs a world in need, so that government's greed can run a world in need and depravity and hopelessness, without charity. This man is trying to tell us what a real religion, Christianity, says about the subject. All while lying, denying the absolute fact that any plan that met His approval would include taxpayer funded abortion. (Abortion being, as far as I can tell, one of the only things Trinity United Church condemns, along with white people and capitalism.)
Now that's audacity.”

But is that quote a "lie"? Is that NOT what Christianity professes? And if it is what true Christians profess, does it carry any less moral weight because the President is hypocriticasl about it? Is it still not your Christian duty to endeavor to reach that ideal?
Or are you a Religious Rightwingnut who dismisses that aprticular point of Christianity because it's something YOU don't do, too? Kind of a Hypocrites Anonymous sort of deal?
Funny how you can profess to be such a devout Christian, Ms. Moore, and ignore the gist of what Christ taught us. You have all the judgmental stuff down pat, with absolutely one of the compassion.

Diogenes, I was accusing Obama of lying because he said that Obama Care does not include abortion coverage or coverage for illegals. It wasn't about the statement about being our brother's keeper.
He out-and-out lied. If these two were not covered, there would be no support from La Raza or Planned Parenthood.
I actually agree with him about being our brother's keeper, but not at the expense of healthcare rationing that will harm the elderly. How is that being our brother's keeper?
I would like to see the 15 million (not the illegals) uninsured get some help. Though if they are not poor, I think they should get assistance, as in cheaper rates, not free coverage.
