The folks who stress that we need to get back to the principles of the Founding Fathers advocate at least two major constitutional amendments, changes that would drastically alter the nature of government as established by the Founding Fathers:
1. term limits for members of Congress.
2. abolishment of the Electoral College.
There are already term limits on elected officials; they're called "elections". You don't like your representative? Vote for someone else, and get off your duff and help get that someone else elected. "Taxation without representation" doesn't mean you get to throw that term around simply because the candidate you wanted didn't get elected. You're still represented.
And your line-spewing actor calls for "universal service"? Isn't that one of Barack Obama's proposals, one that you have personally criticized ad infinitum? One that your Ste. Michele Bachmann called "youth indoctrination camps"? Do you even read or listen to the stuff you throw onto your blog?
"This guy should be our next president"? Yeah, actors who deliver lines of dialogue written by others always make the best Presidents! But, if a suitable actor isn't available, you could always draft a ventriloquist dummy. Or Michele Bachmann or Sarah Palin, for that matter.
The Lord has placed a strong burden on my heart for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. The anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism throughout the world is growing rampantly, and the public is not being told the truth about Israel.
At the same time, Islam is an enormous threat to the West, and because of political correctness, most will not address its dangers. In all honesty, the Hard Left and Islam have united and are using one another because they both share the same hatred for America, Israel, and Christianity. As Christians, we must hate Islam, but not have hate in our hearts for Muslims. They are totally deceived by an evil religion which has them bound by its lies, hatred, and intolerance. We must also remember that most Muslims were born into their evil religion and know nothing else. Jesus has love in His heart for the Muslim people, so He expects the same from us.
