Sarah Palin Resigns
Sarah Palin resigning as governor of Alaska! What a news flash on a holiday weekend! The big question is: why would she do so, and it’s difficult to speculate as to her reasons.
Sarah quoted General Douglas MacArthur, "We are not retreating, but advancing in another direction." Does she plan to run for president in 2012, or has she just had it with the vengeance directed at her and her family ever since she came on the national scene in late August as McCain’s running mate? Or does she plan to direct her full attention to fighting Obama in his efforts to sabotage America? Only time will tell.
One thing is for certain: no one individual has drawn the hatred of the liberals as Sarah Palin has. She is a strong woman who lives her values and will never be forgiven for not aborting her Down’s Syndrome son, Trig, and instead appreciating him as a blessing from God, as all children are.
Liberals recognize the power she has in her ability to connect with average Americans, and the huge crowds she draws terrify them. They, and their comrades in the mainstream media, just drip with intense loathing of the woman. Palin Derangement Syndrome is a disease that has infested nearly all on the Left. My own ultra-liberal mother seethes over with hatred when she discusses Palin; I can hear the contempt in her voice as she shares her disdain for a genuinely good and honorable woman.
Palin has been dealing with one bogus ethics complaint after another, ever since returning to Alaska after the November election. These below-the-belt actions by her political opponents have cost her family dearly, to the tune of about half a million dollars in legal fees, as well as costs to the state of Alaska. Liberals have absolutely no shame. Thug politics at work once again.
Obama may have strong oratory skills, but he is a phony, and more and more people are beginning to see that. Despite his Ivy League education and all his intellect, the man, like most liberals, lacks common sense in handling domestic and foreign policy. Palin, on the other hand, appeals to the masses because of her down-to-earth ability to relate to people and her strong charisma. Without her on the Republican ticket last year, McCain would have been royally clobbered, despite the claims that have been made that she hurt McCain.
Personally, I adore Sarah Palin; whether she is ready for the presidency in 2012 remains to be seen.

Palin is facing a federal corruption investigation. That's why she left the office.
She's going to run for Senate in2010, and then take a run for the presidency in 2012. I wish her luck. I hope the RAepublicans nominate her. She's got the intellectual depth of a mud puddle. A wink and a grin may work for a prom date in Alaska, but it won't work with a nation looking for a leader.
"Personally, I adore Sarah Palin"
I've never even REMOTELY come close to saying (or even thinking) this with regard to Barack Obama, yet you constantly accuse me of viewing Obama as the Messiah!!! I worked to get himi elected President, I support many of his views, but "adore"? No, sorry!
When we start adoring politicians of ANY stripe, we're in trouble.
So think twice or thrice before yo sling that particular arrow of outrageous fortune at anyone next time, Ms. Moore. You don't want both feet in your mouth, do you?
You don't adore Obama? That's a good one, Diogenes. You are one of his cult followers.
As to Sarah Palin, I do adore her because she stands for the things that are important to me, but I'm not certain I want her to be president. However, anyone would be better than Obama, even his VP who sticks his foot in his mouth about almost every time he opens it. And you guys said Palin was stupid.
I don't "adore" Obama, and I sure as hell have NEVER used that word about ANY politician! As for stupid, I'll stack Obama and/or Biden up against the likes of Sarah Smiles at any time:
OBAMA: two years at Occidental College, B.A. from Columbia University in political science with a specialization in international relations; J.D. from Harvard, magna cum laude.
BIDEN: B.A, from University of Delaware with a double major in history and political science; J.D. from Syracuse.
PALIN: one semester at Hawaii Pacific College, two semesters at North Idaho (Community) College, two semesters at the University of Idaho, one semester at Matanuska-Susitna (Community) College, three more semesters at the University of Idaho, finally receiving a B.A. in communications/journalism, which launched her career as a TV sports reporter in Alaska.
All the fancy degrees in the world do not make up for the fact that Obama is a naive man who thinks he can talk evil tyrants out of their evil plans. Jimmy Carter all over again. We all know where that got us.
As to Biden, he's a laugh a minute. If he weren't a liberal the media would tear him apart for his outrageous comments.
The word you used, Ms. Moore, was "stupid", not "naive". It seems like whenever you make a statement and it's refuted, you change the focus.
Why is it that people who don't have them can so glibly and condescendingly dismiss significant academic achievements from major universities as "fancy degrees"?
And if you don't believe that the press has a field day with The Great Gaffe Machine, otherwise known as Vice President Biden, you need to read some more. I think the big difference is how differently Biden and Palin respond to criticism. Joe Biden tends to smile, shrug his shoulders, and more or less say "Hey, that's me!" and the controversy tends to die off. Heck, for all his faults, John McCain has a tremendous ability to laugh and make jokes at his own expense; he's hilarious when he appears on Saturday Night Live. Sarah Palin whines about the press and threatens to sue reporters. She just doesn't know when to let well enough alone.
Palin is like Obama ...not enough practical experience yet. Both want to make a difference.Palin needs to go after the lies in our new group of immature electees, but not as a president. That should come later. We should get an experienced mess cleaner upper in finances like Romney..first.We were in the beginning of a financial crisis, and what did this country do ? We elected a youngster who's only financial experience was acorn, even though repubs nominated someone who admitted to having no experience financially. WE HAD A GIFT IN ROMNEY'S EXPERTISE,WHO WAS THE PERFECT ANSWER..AND WE SNUBBED HIM!!! ONLY HE KNOWS IF HE IS WILLING TO STILL TRY TO CLEAN UP THIS NOW,HIDEOUS MESS !
Yeah, call out the retreads! Let's get another Bush, Jeb! Or give GHWB another shot!
